HI M.,
My daughter had really bad eczema, but her skin has always reacted well (even got better) with Coppertone Baby Sunscreen. The one in the pink bottle.
Eczema stinks!! Good luck!!
My almost 2 year old daughter may have eczema. Probably a mild case. I've been using Cetaphil twice a day on her and the rash has disappeared. But when I've put suscreen on her face ad arms, I see little red bumps, so I'm avoiding suscreen. Is there a good sunscreen for kids with eczema/sesitive skin?
Thanks,
M.

My 8 yr old daughter has horrible skin issues..allergic to everything! we use California Baby products with no issues. you can find them at whole foods and possibly target. good luck!
I second one parent's response about using mineral sunscreens instead of chemical ones, ones containing Zinc Oxide are probably best.
Try the California Baby No Fragrance Sunscreen (spf 30+) - worked great on my 10 month old with constant eczema. Actually when I started using California Baby sensitive products on her, it started clearing up (mostly). CB is pricey but worth it! Available at Target and Whole Foods (I think they carry the full line at WF) and online. Good luck!
My daughter also has really bad eczema since birth; she is now 5; but we've tried different sunscreen and found that Neutrogena Ultra Sheer will not cause a reaction on her skin. So, try that.
I use Aveeno baby sunscreen for sensitive skin. Our baby has eczema too and so far no sign of any reaction. It's cheapest at Target.
My son and I are both allergic to chemical sunscreens, so we have to use mineral sunscreens that utilize zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide to physically block UVA and UVB, whereas chemical sunscreens are absorbed into the skin which then absorb UVA/UVB. Because we have chemical sensitivities, we do not use products containing parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, phthalates, artificial colors/fragrances, EDTA, propylene glycol, and petroleum-based ingredients. Our favorite is MyChelle Sun Shield, but we also use Desert Essence Organics Mineral Sunscreen and Earth's Best Organics Sunblock by Jason Natural Cosmetics. In the past, we have also used California Baby which worked fine, but we stopped using this brand because they contained parabens. Just found out that they have changed the ingredients to exclude parabens!
