My guess would be no, mostly because it is such a low, low dose pill. And, like the poster below I absolutely hated it due to constant breakthrough bleeding!
I started taking LoEstrin 24 Fe this past Sunday. I keep getting these sharp, stabbing pains in my right breast. It's not muscular, I can't massage it away. It's sudden, throbbing pain that is not constant. Comes & goes.
Could it be related to the pill? I've never had this pain before. Weird. Anybody else experience this??
Bethany-
Weird, I've taken it before, and LOVED it. My periods were pretty much nonexistent! I do know you HAVE TO take it at the SAME time every day, or you will have breakthrough bleeding. That was a pain, but this time around I don't have a problem taking it at the same time every day. Never experienced boob pain though. ha!

I react to all birth control horribly. This one was so low dose, that the side effects weren't as bad...but I still had them. I had shooting pains in my breasts, with this pill. I didn't have the bleeding like others, but I did have the breast pain.
.
Not sure, but I just wanted to let you know that I HATED that pill!!! I screwed me up so bad. I had random bleeding all the time with it and major mood swings. Weird, because it's a low dose, but I know lots of other moms that it didn't agree with either.
I am on that same one. However, I had no breast pain just abnormal periods since the birth of my 18 month old daughter. The doc just switched me to low low FE. Seems to be ok so far
