You're going to be using the oven for the baked potatoes. I assume you're going to grill the steaks. I say throw them on the grill with the steaks and do them that way.
We are having steak and lobster tails with baked potatoes tonight for dinner. For Valentine's we usually do something special - something we normally don't do. So we haven't done lobster tails in a long time....
How would you prepare them?
Grill
Baked
Steamed
I've had all three. Like all three and it's too early in the morning for me to actually get ramped up for dinner...I've not even had lunch yet!!
We will have the lemon slices and melted butter....steaks, baked potatoes...the boys wanted shrimp and fries...I might be steaming some asparagus depending upon the size of the potatoes I pick up at the store...
Wanna help me decide, please? Thanks!
we ended up steaming them...my husband doesn't like the taste from grilling them.
Dinner was really tasty!! Thanks!

I don't like the "burnt" taste that grilling adds - the shells get funky and smell not great. Baked is good if you're going to split it and use stuffing. but steaming seems to make them most moist in my experience. At our fish market they will steam the lobsters for you and have them ready at pick-up time at not extra cost. We learned to have out lobster dinners early to take advantage of that option. No smelly kitchen and dirty pots.
I make them by picking up the nearest phone and dialing for reservations.
