What can I do next?

Homemade is the answer no matter what you're selling, lol. I second Country Time though! I liked that as a kid, still like it as an adult though I haven't had any in quite awhile. And I had to laugh when I read the "no thanks" when some kids were selling the wrong brand. Honestly, normal adults will either buy a cup or not, regardless of the brand, because it's a little kid. HOWEVER you could sell MORE cups to the same people if it's good, so try to make it as good as you can. It's an opportunity to teach excellence in business. :) Have fun!

I would use country time... that's the kind I like... plus it's fairly cheap, so you will be able to make it AND keep most of your profit. (more to donate.) :) I would offer a sugar-free alternative too...

One thing I have seen people doing at yard sales is grilling hot-dogs and selling those for $1.00 each. They were selling pretty good too! They had a table set up with buns, ketchup, mustard, and relish. That's something you can actually SMELL cooking, so it will stir the appetite. :) good luck.

Which ever brand you decide to use, just have some fresh lemon wedges to squeeze into each cup to make it seem fresh.

If kids are selling it doesn't matter, most people will buy regardless of what brand it is. Homemade is best, but I don't think it will make that much difference in sales to make it worth the work and extra expense. I've bought some really bad lemonade from the kids on my street, but every time the have a stand, I go back and support them. Kids can sell anything. My nephew made a killing selling cans of soda at his mom's yardsale. He would sell them for $1 a can and people bought it up.

Homemade! I went to a garage sale last weekend and some kids were selling kool-aid lemonade. No thanks!

If homemade is too expensive or difficult, use country time and add lemon wedges.

I'm sure homemade tastes best, but the last time my daughter had a lemonade stand, she sold 100 cups. I bought the cheapest frozen I could find at Target and it sold like crazy! We live on a busy pedestrian corner across from a popular urban lake and an antique car show was being held on a hot summer day.

i am not picky about lemonade (although something cherry or strawberry is always awesome!) but if you did homemade cookies, that'd do it for me!! :) we are doing cinnamon rolls and hot dogs at ours next week...

I agree home made is best but more expensive. I can't remember who makes it but strawberry lemon-aid is divine.

I'd agree with ABM.. homemade is the best.. I cannot stand the fake stuff, but will tear up on the homemade... It's really not that difficult to make..

countrytime lemonade is good and you can get it at costco. we had a lemonade stand last weekend and made chocolate chip cookies and they were a big hit! We charged .50 for lemonade and 1.00 for a bag of 3 cookies. My girls made $40, but it was during our neighborhood/city sale, so we had lots of traffic and they worked hard!
good idea to donate the money! :)
Have fun!
