I have never heard of Leaky Gut Syndrome, but, if it is an intestinal issue, have you been checked for Celiac Disease? My b-i-l has it and can not eat any wheat products or even eat anything that has been prepared in the same pan, on the same cutting board, with the same utensils as a wheat product. It is a very difficult disease. My s-i-l used to have to shop exclusively at Whole Foods, but fortunately, there are so many new organic products in the regular market that she no longer has to specialty shop. My best friend has a son who is autistic and she has been treating him for leaky gut syndrome for quite sometime. I can't even begin to get into all of it but she's a pro. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you guys hooked up.

I noticed one person replied and said Leaky gut was the same as IBS. This is not the case. Sometimes they go hand in hand but not always. My father in law had leaky gut syndrome. His case was bad enough he ended up having to have part of his intestines taken out. Later to learn that an allergy to Gluten (Wheat) was causing a lot of problems with his leaky gut. Many people have a allergy to Gluten but do not realize it. Good luck and let me know what you learn!
