we use the Huggies overnights and they are great! I buy them in one size up. I can only find them at BRU or HyVee stores
My 15 mo. old son is in the biggest size diapers (6). They seem snug on him and at night he always seems to leak through. I use Luvs for him. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do or which diaper brand to buy?! Thanks!!

Hi there, my 8 mo old and my 2 yr old will leak so i started using huggies overnights, that usually works, i also try no to let my son drink much after 7:30 that helps
Also, maybe the luvs brand doesnt match his body type. I use pampers.
I'm responding because I have the same problem with my 18 month old and I would like to see how other people responded. He's in size 5's and it doesn't happen every night but most nights it does. I just put a shirt or onesie on him because the pants would just get wet. Does he have a lot of liquids? I still give him a "baba" at night and I put mainly water (mixed with just a splash of juice) because I know milk is bad for their teeth (to be sitting on them all night).
i always use huggie supreme... always. two, when i had to!
Buy overnight diapers. They work! They hold more than the regular diapers. They are kind of expensive, but it saves on laundry every night. And a package lasts a while if you just use them at night. We use the Huggies brand, but there are different brands out there.
Also, one of my friends said her son was leaking through his diaper and she started putting him in cloth diapers. It sounds strange, but he didn't leak through the cloth diapers.
Try the Huggies Overnight diapers. We LOVE them! We use Luvs during the day and Huggies night times at night. I also think they tend to run a little bigger than Luvs.
You also might try limiting his fluids a few hours prior to bedtime. I'm also wondering if size 6 might be too big?
Huggies Overnites. I've always had great luck with them
because my son pees like a firehose at night. Also, try
cutting back on what he drinks a few hours before bed.
It's worth a shot-changing sheets and wet sleepers every
morning is a drag!!
I really like the Wal-Mart brand, Parent's Choice. We've never had a leak in them, and my son can sleep for 12 hours. They even have anti-rash ingredients built right in, which I've never seen mentioned on the packaging of the pricier brands.
If those don't work, try cloth diapers. But don't use the burp rag quality ones you can find in the store. Ask around at diaperswappers.com to see which online store has good nighttime diapers!
Have you tried Huggies "Overnights" - I used those for my son because he was soaking through his diaper/clothes also. Give those a shot - you can usually find them at Target or Walmart type stores.
Hi! I had this problem with my 2 y/o earlier this year. Try Huggies (6), Huggies overnight (6) or S/M Goodnights. They are the best I have found for leaks. If the diapers do not work put a Goodnight on him then a diaper over it if it is too big. This worked for us!
God Bless!
I use the huggies supreme, they seem to hold lots of liquid.
My daughter started leaking through luvs so I switched her to Huggies...no problems so far. It seems their bodies can change a bit and diapers that work great for one baby, not so well on another. I'd try switching. You sure the diapers aren't too big??
Overnight diapers are awesome! I know Huggies makes them, but I am not sure if other brands do as well. When my son started to sleep through the night, the diapers never kept up with him. Overnights are designed to be especially absorbant. They are more expensive, but you only use one for the whole time they are sleeping, and my son stayed asleep instead of waking up wet. Overnights rock!
How long does your child sleep without being changed? Sometimes my daughter when she was little would wake up with a really heavy diaper and we started having to get her up every 4 to 6 hours to change her and we started using Huggies, they are the best. You could also try using those over night pants to see if that might help.
my favorite was pampers, especially at night. now we use the walmart brand and occasionally they will leak a bit at night, but i never had a problem with pampers. for awhile i used pampers at night and WM during the day, that worked great. good luck.
We had the same problem with our son! We use Pampers and they just weren't cutting it at night. Then we found Huggies Overnights. He hasn't had a problem since!
Huggies, Huggies, Huggies! Natural fit or Overnight. They do cost more, but you could just use them for night time. Look for coupons.
How big is your son? My 15 month just moved to size 5 and he is 26 pounds. They could be too big and gapping. But after 3 kids, I swear by 2 things: Huggies Overnights and cutting off liquids an hour before bed. Then change the diaper right before putting them down. Good luck!
I have had the same problem with both of my sons. My two year old is small enough to be in a size 4 but we moved him up to a size 5 and that has really helped. My one year old is in a size 3 barely and is always waking up wet. So we started buying pampers for him and that has really helped. Eventually we plan on just putting him in the papmers at night and the luvs during the day so that we won't be spending so much money on diapers.
Are you sure they're not too big? Size 6 is awfully big for a 15-month-old. Maybe if they're gaping around the sides that would explain the leaks.
Hi R.- I haven't gotten a chance to read thru the other suggestions so I apologize in advance if this is a repeat. I have the same problem w/ my daughter at nite if I put a "cheaper" diaper on her. Pampers/Pampers Cruisers and Huggies seem to be the only two for us that don't leak. You can use the lesser expensive ones during the day and the more pricier ones at night. Best of luck!
I have also had to us diaper doublers with the overnigt diapers. They are extra absorbant pads you add to the diaper. You can find them at Target or Babies r Us. Good Luck!!
I've found that the Night time pull ups are awesome!!!! That's what I used on my 2nd and they always worked great!! Hope this helps:)!
I have had better luck using Huggies.... the leak throughs happen much less often now. Good luck!
What I found that worked on my son is Pampers Cruisers. I know they are more expensive, but they were they only diapers that wouldn't leak every night. Try to limit his fluid intake about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before bedtime...that could help with the amount of urine. It also seemed to me that whenever my son had a rash and I used a diaper cream on him, this created a wetness barrier that would allow the urine to roll away from the padded diaper area and into the creases surrounding the outer layers of the diaper...always causing an accident. So if you do use a cream, make sure it is sparingly, and only right where the rash is. Hopefully you will find something that works for him. I know how frustrating it can be for the both of you to do midnight pj and sheet changes. Good luck!
R.-
I have only ever bought the Target brand for both of my children, my daughter goes to bed at 9 and gets up between 7 - 8 every morning, completely dry.
Hope this helps!!

I agree with most of the posts on here...Huggies all the way! LOL My son is now 20 (no, he doesn't still wear diapers LOL) but Huggies were the only diapers I found wayi back then that didn't leak at all...I see Huggies is still doing a great job...good luck with your little one, and God Bless!
Have you tried Huggies Overnights? My son had the same problem. We tried every diaper out there and Huggies Overnights were the ones that worked best for him. Every once in a great while he would leak through, but 99% of the time he woke up with dry pajamas.
HUGGIES OVERNITES!!! They are awesome at night!! Rarely do they leak and when they do it is because we let her have a whole glass of milk before bed. They are somewhat expensive but I think it is worth not having to change sheets nightly, having your child wake up early because they are soaking through PJ's, etc... Good luck!
Pampers Baby Dry is GREAT for overnight leakers. I started my daughter on them after a couple of nights of her soaking the bed and havent had a problem since!
I has this problem and started using Huggies Overnights alomg with a product called a "Diaper Doublers" placed inside. You can get those at Babies R Us and they are about $2.99/30. They are basically a large maxi pad placed inside the diaper at night. I know it sounds kinds gross but I was sicvk of changing the sheets everyday or having my little man wake up in the middle of the night all wet...I like my sleep. Good luck!!
I've always been a faithful Pampers Cruisers user since my son was born (he's 2) but he too started leaking through right about the same time. I started buying Huggies Overnights and they work like a charm.
You know, we never had any good things to say about Luvs. They never kept my son dry. Believe it or not, the Wal-Mart brand of diapers work very well. We have never had a problem with them and let me tell you, my son has filled them to capactity on a number of occassions! Hope this is helpful to you!
I used to put a pull up over my daughters diaper at night. It worked pretty well.
Try the Huggies Overnights. They worked best for my babies when they were in diapers.
