There is going to be about 10 ladies that are going on a over night get away. We are not sure if we are going to eat out, or eat in. Thoughts are maybe some prepared meals that we can put in microwave. We dont want to spend a lot of time eating out. There is a hot springs where we are going and want to have plenty of time for that. Any idea's for a in room meal?
There are ladies that are going, who barely can afford the trip. So we need idea's that seem fun, and not so burdended on not going because of money.
10 people, 1 night? Order in! Or go out somewhere quick.
No cooking in on the girls get away! LOL
Will there be an oven or stove in the room? A hotel microwave will take longer than ordering out, because you will have to heat your meals in so many batches.
If you have an oven, you can buy frozen pizzas or get food from the deli at Costco. They have good salads there too.
Have a great time! Bring some wine!
One more thing I just thought of: What about a taco bar? Bring some ground beef or shredded chicken, shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, salsa, and guacamole. The only thing you need to heat is the meat. You can make margaritas too!
Pizza is pretty cheap and fast...sometimes you can find a buffet around, maybe go at the tail end of the luch hours, may be a better price.
If you have to eat in your rooms, how many rooms are there? It's not one microwave for all of you is it? Because that will take too long. How about if you precook roast beef or bbq beef and heat it in a crock pot? And bring salad for a side or microwave mashed potatoes? The important thing is to have fun!!!

What about a grilled chicken salad? You could either grill chicken breasts before you go or buy the grilled stips in the meat section at the grocery store. Get a big container of salad greens and the fixins. Or if you have an Olive Garden close, pick up some party salads on the way down & add the chicken.
