Labiaplasty

I did not have this particular procedure done but I did have surgery in this area. I was diagnosed with Vulvar Vestibulitis and had to had some of the are removed with a laser and a permentant relaxing perionioplasty (episiotomy) It took me 3 weeks to recover and I had to lay around with an ice pack. It was hard to sit down so I spent most of my time lying around. The doc has retired so I can't recommend him.

Hi L.--I haven't had this procedure but I did see a special on television about an African-American male doctor (I've forgotten his name) who is supposed to be a genius at this operation. He's not in Texas but after seeing the show, I went online to find out more about the surgery even though the show I was watching showed one woman's surgery from beginning to end. Anyway, I ran across the same guy on one website endorsing a female doctor right here in Texas (Austin, I think) and I got very excited. If he endorses someone, I would see that person first because his work was awesome on the program I saw. I've been trying to find them again online but I don't have a lot of time to look right now. Go to Google and put in "Labiaplasty doctors in Texas" and see what you can find...I hope this helps a little.

Hi L.. I'm not sure where you live but the two doctors I know of personally are in Arlington/Mansfield. They are Dr. Gary Donovitz and Dr. Robert True. They both perform Gyno/Plastic surgery. Good luck.
