this sunday we planned on an outdoor birthday party...well it sounds like it's going to be too chilly! so i'm thinking of moving it to a bowling alley. so i'm wondering if any of you mom's have suggestions of your favorite places. i've been to the Park Tavern and the had a "slide" type thing for the toddlers to set the ball on, that was cool! i'm thinking somewhere either in mpls or st.paul. thanks!

What can I do next?

Hey C.!
Last December we took my son to Sundance Golf & Bowl in Osseo (www.sundancegolfbowl.com ###-###-####). It may be a bit far out there, but it was a great time. We 12 boys ranging in age from 3 1/2 to 6 and they had a blast. They had the ramps for the kids as well as the bumpers so we didn't have any gutter balls.

We did one of their Birthday Party packages which included 1 hour of bowling (we had 2 lanes for 12 kids), shoe rental, lunch (either hot dogs and fries or pizza - you chose when you get there), soda and ice cream. They also supplied all of the paper products, including invitations and gift bags for just 11.99 per child. Well worth it - all we had to supply was the cake!

Hi C.
Brunswick lanes -- blaine-- great.
Most alley's have the slides-- this place has lights, bumpers.
Flaherty's has cosmic too.

Have fun

There's a new bowling alley called Pinz in Oakdale that is very cool. It just opened last summer so it's clean and new. It has the slide thing for the ball. You can also ask them to put the bummers up for all the players or just some players which ever works best for you.

Brunswick in Lakeville, Eden Prairie or Blaine! The one in Brooklyn Park is pretty scary and ghetto will never take my kids to that location again but the other locations are totally fine.

We've been to Elsie's in NE for a couple of kids parties. It's pretty fun. Bumpers and slide, etc.
