We have AT&T Uverse and love it. Time Warner was costly and didn't have as much to offer for the price. We pay 75-80 a month for internet, phone (long distance free) and many channels of cable. Everest is coming to my area and we previously had them before we moved. We were happy with them as well but are extremely happy with AT&T for the price. We even received the first 3 months at 50% off and some other deals I can't remember. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi T.!
If you can get it in your area, AT&T U-verse is really pushing for market penetration and they were able to give us better up and down rates than Comcast (and better service too).
My husband runs his technology consulting company from home so it was necessary.
The bonus was that the "cable TV" addon is only $26/month I think, and came with a really nice DVR interface.
Their billing's still a little zany, as they haven't combined it yet, so you have to watch it - but we are extremenly happy with the value for their services.

Check out Vonage. It uses Voice over IP techonology so you have to a high speed internet connection but it sounds like you do already. All calls within the US and to some other countries are free. It costs about $25 per month and includes caller ID, call waiting etc. etc. You can also pay for a year's service and get a discount.
We use it at home to call our family back in England and for the most part it works great.

We switched from AT&T to Time Warner over a year ago, and have been very pleased - no problems. We have cable, internet and phone with them, which includes unlimited FREE long distance. Yippee!

I would recommend Everest. I used to have Time Warner and I had nothing but problems with them. They were out at least once a month because we would lose service to our phone. So whoever you decide to go with I would steer clear of Time Warner.

Your best bet will probably be Time Warner if you're looking for both phone and internet.

T. - Sprint carries a cell phone plan, no limit on minutes, internet, etc. for $99. It beats the competitors when you're tlaking about all the options plus minutes. Also, Sprint carries Aircards. They are fit into your USB port and provide internet wherever you need it. I can hook you up on an a referral savings if you are interested.

Thanks,
Jeni

Everest, hands down. We have home, business, fax (only $5 more with our business-separate phone number), basic cable, and fastest internet. We even got free long distance on our home line, just by asking for it!! Everest is not available city wide at this point, so you'll have to see if it's available to you in your area. We have had it for several years now and been very satisfied. When ATT or Sprint call, they can only beat our current prices during a promo and then are higher than our normal rate. Oh, and as for Sprint...we live literally 1/4 mile from their headquarter's campus and we have horrible reception!! My husband tried their $99 plan and had so many dropped calls in the first 24 hours, he immediately dropped it.
