Same with me. I have 2 girls and when I was pregnant with my 3rd,we found out it was another girl. I think my husband and I was both excited b/c we knew how to handle girls and guess we were afraid how to handle and deal with a boy. The day of my delivery we found out it was a boy. All that worry and stress about how to take care of a boy and how to raise a boy went out the window. We just went with everything as it came. He completes are little family for now. ;) We are very blessed!!!
Congrats!!!!!
Boys LOVE their mommas. I wanted another girl b/c my first was a girl. Now I wouldn't trade my boy for anything. There is just something special. Congrats.
My two boys are awesome. They call me a beautiful princess and shower me with hugs and kisses every day and are so sweet and helpful. It helps take the edge off of their crazy amounts of energy and jumping on every single piece of furniture in my house and destroying my walls by constantly crashing things into them (including their bodies). You will likely go to the Dr. for cuts and xrays more than for vaccines if they are anything like mine. Plus, they will compare every girlfriend to me ;)
And you realize many 'boy' things are not learned. My boys started zooming blocks and baby toys on the floor and coffee table like they were toy cars and making 'vrooming' noises without anyone ever exposing them to a toy car or car type show. Same with guns. Weird.
Congratulations! I swear they come out of the womb knowing how to make car, train, truck noises, think potty humor is the greatest and the best is that they LOVE their mamas! Mine is 4 and he is mama's boy. Now I'm sure that will change down the road, and that is fine, but I love it because my 8 y/o daughter is daddy's girl. Have fun and prepare yourself for lots of monster trucks in the future. :)
A. I am so happy for you!! Awesome news! I too, have 2 girls (4 and 5) and just had a baby boy, he is 5 1/2 months old. He is sweet as pie, has been sleeping through the night since 2 months old, is a champion breastfeeding baby - a big healthy boy (18 lbs already) and is so smiley and cute, I am just in love. My hubby knows he's the new man in my life...and he'll never be able to compete! LOL!
I can't wait to see all the stages - first steps, talking, etc. I love it....
My son is the youngest with 2 older sisters. He is so spoiled and such a mama's boy! Congrats!!!
Boys Rock!
Just you wait and see! :)
You're gonna have so much fun...

~Mom/Auntie to 6 boys and 1 girl
So much fun!
Boys are crazy, busy, funny, cool little cats!
Things that are amazing: it's like they are born knowing how to make sound affects with their mouths! They have so much energy that it's like they are plugged in! They are super affectionate even when they are on the move. You get to be his first love (no more just having daddy's little girls).
You are going to be fine and he is going to be amazing!
Congrats, Mama!!
Congrats!!! Boys are awesome! You have gotten yourself into bugs, dirt, a bit of raw aggression and also flowers being brought to you from the backyard or wherever, tons of affection, being the absolute love of someone's life (at least for a while;), being the high and lofty standard some other woman will have to meet, and just being viewed with absolute adoration on a daily basis :D I don't know what it's like to have a girl, didn't get one, I know they must be awesome as well but I do love raising boys even though they are exhausting!!!
Congrats!! I too have two girls and boys don't run in my family. I was blessed with a little boy 2 years ago. He is a handful but such a joy. Congrats again!!
Congrats! My sweet little boy is 3 weeks old. We have an almost 4 yr old daughter as well. I knew he was a boy from the start and when the U/S said so, I went into the bathroom at the OBGYN and just stood there in shock trying to collect myself. Not because I was upset, but more so because it was now real and I was like "What do I do with a boy?" HAHAHAHA! I have no idea how to be a boy and what drives a boy, but I am sure glad for the blessings God has given me in the form of two very sweet angels that I call my kids. :)
Parenting is wonderful and now you get to experience the best of both worlds! Enjoy!
You will love him to pieces! One of the fun things about having a boy is that when he gets to be about 13 or so he'll be able to pick you up and carry you around. They LOVE to show off how strong they are ;)
I love my boys to bits,
You have a baby MAN in your tummy, if you get indegestion that's why, haha.
BOYS ROCK!! I have 2 :)
Congrats!!
I'm sure your girls will paint his nails, dress him up, make him play barbies ~ I know I did to my brother!
Congratulations! Boys are fun! They are very active and like to crash things! :) My "little" guy is now 6'1; 195 and 19 years old. He will always be my "little man". Blessings to you and your family!!!
Baby boys are way better at peeing long distance than baby girls, so keep your mouth closed when you change those diapers! This didn't actually happen with my son, but multiple random women have mentioned their sons peeing into their mouths while I was changing my son in a public restroom.
Also, boys stick things up their nose!
Congrats!
Great news
congrats
Congratulations!
BOYS ROCK!
Yay! Congrats!
You've gotten yourself into plenty of burps, farts, and giggles. :)
Boys are wonderful! Congratulations!
Congrats! Oh, boys are wonderful. Yes, they are busy. Yes they think differently from girls. But, boy, oh, boy, they are delightful! I always say that the best thing God ever created was 7 year old little boys! Just wait. Nobody loves mommy more than a little boy! Enjoy!!
Congrats. Boys are great. I have 3 boys.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! So exciting!
There is a special bond between boys and their mamas... :)
Congratulations! Boys are fun, but make sure you've got a good system for keeping the toilet and surrounding floor/walls/cabinets and even ceiling clean due to misfires :)
LOL! Congrats!! Give me a boy any day...
I have a boy.. they are veeeeeeeeeery busy as children, they can wear you out.. BUT!!! he will always be momma's little boy! When he is all grown up.. you will be his favorite person in the whole world, when your two little girls get girly hormones and start rebelling.... you will be so thankful for your little boy.
Plus!! Daddy gets to take him on fishing trips and teach him how to fix things around the house.. mow the lawn, etc... So you can have a break too. Boys don't have (much) self esteem issues and are not as sensitive as girls, so you can be open and tell them - Hey, that shirt needs to go! LOL.
Enjoy every minute of their childhood...
Awww, that's AWESOME! I have just the opposite. Had two boys, then a girl.
Congrats!
The boys loooove their Mamas, you know!
:)
Congrats!!! boys are so much fun you will love it!
LOL That's what I said when I found out mine was a boy!
Congrats!
Congrats. I'm a proud mom of 2 boys and I have to say I prayed for boys for both my pregnancies. They are such joys. I have always looked at them as my little boyfriends. They are well mannered and a gentlemen. It's not a day that goes by that they don't tell me how much they love me, that I'm the best mom ever, they open the door for me, help me bring in groceries and tell me how beautiful I am even on days when I don't feel so hot. I can go on and on. They can be quite a handful but I wouldn't change a thing about them except if they can work on being less messy (lol). No worries. He's going to be amazing. Good Luck.
Congratulations!! Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy, delivery and I am sure your 2 girls will LOVE spoiling your boy!!
Congrats!! Nothing so far. That stuff comes later, I think. I have three boys, no girls. While any child is amazing, I LOVE having all boys! :)
Oh, and as one of an all-girl family, I should add that I desperately wanted a brother when I was growing up, so your daughters are super-lucky, too! (I have a half-brother, but he's enough older than I am that he wasn't in the house when I was growing up.)
Boys are a lot of fun, and I never would have thought so before I had one. He is so more laid back than my girl. But he is wildly active, and very messy. he does love his mommy though!
CONGRATS!!! I recently had a little boy he is 2 months old, his two older sisters ages 8 and 5 LOVE him to pieces!!! I bonded well with all of my kids, but its just something about that precious baby boy. Wouldn't have it any other way!!!
*Beware of diaper changing, I've finally got the hang of it!!!*
Awwwwwww........I got double whammied......I have two girls and then I unexpectingly was pregnant again. That was a lot to get through....lol, but then I found out it was a boy. I couldn't have been happier in the end. He is such a bright, cheerful, full of energy 24/7. I do not go through a day without having a smile come across my face about him. Congrats! It will be a great ride. Enjoy!
Boys are awesome! I have 4 and I wouldn't trade them!
I have a girl and a boy. Boys potty-train later, talk later, and are very active, but they are MUCH less dramatic than girls. So, actually, even though my boy has had many surgeries for his cleft lip and palate and has many to come, I still consider him easier to raise than my girl! Don't worry--you will bond so much with all of your kids, it won't even matter to you which one's a girl and which one's a boy.
Congrats. Boys are awesome! My lil man is the light of my life.
Congratulations!!
My son has been such a great joy to me.
He was much more mellow and easy to raise than my daughter, by the way.
Best wishes!
I have a boy.
And a daughter.
You will enjoy him and it will be fun.
Let him be himself.
Congrats!
Awesome! I have one of each. Boys and girls are very different. Boys tend to be more loving and attached to mom and girls tend to be calmer and sweeter. Mostly though, it depends on their personality and there's not much we can do about that! :) Some people have wild girls and sweet boys. I have the more typical, wild boy and sweet girl. It will be different. Girls are usually pleasers and boys are sometimes more self centered. I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just what it is a lot of the time. Look at most grown men for example. Women tend to be more of a pleaser than men. Possibly plan for a much more active child and one who is more attached to your hip. There's no way of knowing for sure though. He'll be fun and stir things up in your family. Congrats!
Congratulations!. Soon enough you will have a break from the world of pink and princesses - completely enough reason to celebrate.
Congratulations! You'll have lots of fun.
The first important lesson is the diaper thing. Undo the diaper, then hold it an inch or so above him until the cold air hits it and it "goes off". Those little guys can do a great imitation of a loose fire hose, and you WILL get it in the face if you don't remember this trick :) (And don't bother with circumcision. Research this well in advance. They do not have to look "just like Dad.")
Men are from Mars, women are from Venus, and my son is from Deep Space 9. You may not be able to follow his thought process like you usually can with your girls. Just like girls, they're very individual, but there are some generalities. They are more impulsive than girls . They are more straightforward. There is generally less drama and more action.
Be glad you get to embark on this great adventure.
Lots of love, kisses, hugs and sweetness! I have a girl and two boys. My daughter wants to clash with me over every issue while my boys just think I'm the greatest.
Congrats!!!!
gotta say, I love my two boys...So happy that I have them. Both are very different, but they are truly lovely human beings. I was never around boys/men growing up so it was a bit shocking to become the mother of sons. Now I rank it as one of my greatest blessings in life.
I do mop bathrooms more and my house has suffered the effects a bit, but I would not change that for the world...;-)
I love, love, love my two little boys. They LOVE their Mommy. Boys, against common teachings, are actually more sensitive and emotional than little girls. They are not nearly as independent (typically) and tend to cry more. If you answer those emotional needs then they are amazing. If you try to squash those behaviors it will make them less independent and more insecure. The more secure they feel, the better their behavior. They have a ton of energy that needs to be directed. They are affectionate and loving and love to climb and do physical things.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
J.
I have two sons and a daughter...all boys are different, my oldest is "typical" rough, sports, snakes and snails and puppy dog tails! But my six year old is anything but typical...he loves dress up, painting nails and dancing...he does love hot wheels cars too but he never crashes them, they always drive on the right side of the road in an organized fashion. He is gentle and soothing and loves to sit in my lap and play with my hair. I call him my "angel boy!" Whether you have a boy that loves all the usual boy activities or one that is totally unique, you are in for an amazing journey! Enjoy every moment, you are truly blessed!
You never know what kind of boy you will get. I have friends who's boys hate being ditry so you will not find them near the mud, they like sitting and reading books for hours and do not like getting rough. There is nothing wrong with it. I have two boys who are ALL BOYS, it has been a trip:) We also have a little girl who will be one in a couple of weeks, my boys definately "rubbed off" on her :) She likes cars, she is wild, into everything and loves being rough. So you just never know.
congrats!!!!!!!!
PS the diaper change thing is the only thing for sure:)
lots and lots of craziness...i have a 4 year old boy and he keeps me on my toes...he's so much fun and i wouldn't trade him for anything...enjoy your pregnancy and start praying now...lol...really, you'll have lots of fun!!!
Congrats! Get ready for lots of fun! I love being a Mommy to a little boy.
I have 2 sisters and 2 boys of my own. One thing is that boys tend to be more honest, girls are better at being sneaky. (Just in my experience.) make sure to always have the clean diaper ready to go on because once the cool air hits boys tend to spray. Luckily they grow out of that after a few months mostly.
I agree that boys are definitely less dramatic, but my older son is a big drama king! I don't agree that girls a calmer and sweeter, or at leas my sisters weren't lol!
Congrats!!
