We have had a BOB Ironman for over two years and it has been AWESOME. Anything BOB will be really good.
I want to buy a really good one for jogging on a track. I would especially like to get something with great shade/sun protection for her. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

The 2 big things I've found is that 1) you have to try them with your daughter. If she's not comfortable it doesn't matter if it's the coolest, best, stroller ever. You won't have fun and she won't let you run.
2) Get one where the front wheel can turn. Especially on a track, without this you will be miserable. They're going to tell you that it will shake but unless you are sprinting, I haven't found this to be the case.
We have a Jeep All Terrain stroller. It was about $100 @ Toys R Us. It has been fabulous since my son was really small but now it's getting difficult as he approaches the 40 lb. weight limit.
Good luck!
I love my BOB Revolution.
The BOB Revolution is the best. The wheel is neat in that it makes it easy to make turns. Yu can lock the wheel in place for long, straight distances though I never need to because it's so easy to handle. It is so lightweight and easy to maneuver you can do it with one hand wile you jog. But it's pricey. I have friends that were in Stroller Strides classes with me with Jeep jogging strollers and they were happy with them and they are half the price.
We have a BOB Revolution & I love it. We just bought the double BOB Rev as we have 2 kids now & we put both our 8 month old & our 5yr old in it & I have no problems pushing it. Our single BOB is almost 5yrs old now & I use it for our infant son, when we go to the store, & it is in great shape still. It is more expensive, but it will last forever!! You can take the wheels off to make more room & it folds to almost nothing. It shades the almost all of your child. I can't say enough about it, I love it. I started off with a cheap one & when I got the BOB wished I had gotten it to begin with.
B.O.B. It's the best period, hands down. Great shade, great manuvering, great build (all welded). I love mine so much I rented one when we went on vacation and am very happy I did. You won't just use it to run with, you'll use it all the time!
I really like our Jeep jogging stroller. It has great shade from the sun. However, I haven't had any experiences with any other jogging stroller. Hopefully you get some great reviews from other moms.
I have a Schwinn jogging stroller. There is tons of room for baby to grow, a nice shade & GREAT shocks!
HTH!
Good luck & God bless!

We also use the jeep jogging stroller and I love it. Plus, it wasn't as expensive as the BOB but it has a lot of great features. The only complaint is that it will not fit in the trunk of my car (Acura CL - 2 door), but that might be an issue with me not having a traditional family car =)
Get the BOB! It is the Cadillac of all strollers. Its smooth, has great shade for the kids and holds up. I have a double and its easier to push than my single crappy one. Make sure you get one with a swivel wheel so it is easier to turn! GOod luck!
We bought the BabyTrend stroller/jogger at Target. It has great shade, wonderful compartments and the front wheel can turn or you can lock in place! We love it!
I have a Jeep jogging stroller and am REALLY unhappy w/ it. My daughter is fine in it, but i don't like pushing it when i'm running, and it's SO hard to turn! So, i don't recommend the Jeep. But, i have used the BOB stroller and LOVE it! I plan on getting rid of my Jeep stroller and getting the BOB double jogging stroller when my second baby is born. They are more expensive, but i think they are SO worth it!
Good luck and I hope your happy w/ whatever you decide to buy!

I have a Schwinn. The canopy is more than adequate for sunshade and it has a built in plastic cover for cold weather. My daughter is snug as a bug in there when its cool out. It also has lots of pockets and cubbies. Great for extra water bottles, towels, sunscreen, etc.
Also, don't forget your mosquito netting. If you don't already have one, they sell them at Babies-R-Us. I don't go for a jog without it these days.
Happy Jogging!!!
Margaret :)
P.S. I am not very gentle with my stroller...it gets tossed into the back of my truck everytime I go. Its always rollin' around back there. I have dropped it while un-loading it a few times (I'm short, trucks tall) It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'!!
