I don't think I could have enough children to use up all the names I like. However, with two girls, we would really like a boy...his name would be Paul, and we're not agreed on a middle name yet. :)
... To use all of "your" names? Or your favorite names?
((I'll list mine out in the bottom. ))
ETA This is spurred out from one of those weeks where I've heard "Oh, that's the name we would have used if ..." Coupled with a cousin who is vexed someone in his fam (that I'm not related to) that used one of his "saved" names.
As a point of reference... Although I have an only child, I always wanted between 5 & 10 kids. Apparently, though, I'd need to have more than that to use up all my names.

HA HA! Well, they would have to be all boys (I have only 1 boy so far)...Henry, Isaac, Andrew (Andy)...
But if a girl showed up...Josephine (Jophie or Josie after my g'ma), Mary or Molly
BUT...I think getting my hubby to AGREE to the names is less likely than having that many more kids! LOL!!
When we had Ben (Benjamin Otis - after hubby's grandpa Otis), we could NOT agree on ANY girls' names...hence, why I said they would have to be all boys! :-)
Fun Question!
GREAT question.

so 5 more. . . after two boys, I started leaning to boy names and stopped pondering the girl names:)
I would really just need one more girl to use my last 'favorite' name, which is Amelia.
We have 2 now, 1 more girl would be Lucy Beth...that's the only "left over" name we have. :)
Our luck we'd have another boy and have to come up with another boy name some how.
We just needed one more girl...but alas, our fifth child was our fourth boy. (I really wanted a Rachel!)
Ummm... 2?
We had trouble coming up with our 2nd's name.
I have two boys and I only have one left over boys name and one girls name.
With our youngest we had a boy and girl name picked out for him so I guess three. But there was no way that was going to happen cause if I did it probably would have been another boy!!!
I guess I would have to have another boy. Years after I had my one and only, I decided I should have named him Ezekiel then called him Zeke.
Sigh, he is a Zachary instead. Sigh, he thinks Zeke would have been cool. I did offer to take him to the courthouse and change his name. He declined and said that at the ripe old age of 16 changing his name would be too confusing. LOL
R., just get hamsters to use up all those names you have.
we have 3 girls, we only have one more girl name we like: Elise
Would love to have a baby boy someday and name him like my hubby: Paul :o)
other names I like for boys:
Noah
Ian
Joel
Ezekiel
Bradley
Guillermo
We have a hard enough time coming up with names for out kids when I'm pregnant! We don't have any "saved" names. I think we're lucky that our girls have gotten names at all! lol. My family is huge, so nearly all of the names we like (we're very traditional/practical) have already been used. Oh well!
I would need one more boy so I could name him Easton and a girl so I could name her Ava RaeLynn.
One (what I do have). I had absolutely no girl names so very lucky I didn't have one. Used both boy names - one as his first name and the other as his middle name.
Fun question! It won't be happening..but if I could have one more I would want a girl so I could use this name...Ainsley Grace. I love it :)
Well I have three sons and a step-daughter, so I never got to name a girl. I would have loved a Catherine, who we would have called Katie.
The two boys names that my husband didn't agree to were Caleb and Dylan but having another wouldn't mean that I get those names. All set with the ones I have!
I have always wanted to use my second favorite girl's name: Madeline Grace. I was just recently lamenting that I'd never have my Madeline, and now I'm pregnant with baby #4! I might have a Madeline afterall. I only have one boy name left that I like and it's Ian. I hope hubby likes it too. If not, this baby had better be a girl!!!
None, naming has always been a difficult task for us. Our kids are the poor babies at the hospital that the tag on their bassinet says " baby ( insert last name)".
I would need about 5 girls- Isabelle, Grace, Emma, Cadence, and Elizabeth.
Right now we have a boy and girl name picked out. Lillian and Ian. So whatever of the two dont get used you can add that as well.
I hate coming up with boy names.
So you and I have similar taste...
I don't need to have too many more...(not that I could, I am done...been snipped :)
Tru
-Always loved it, tried to get husband to go for it but he was NOT having it...we settled on Gillian Quinn instead!
Wylie
-Husband didn't like this one either but I got around it b/c we settled on Wyatt but b/c he is such a wild man we refer to him as 'Wylie-Wyatt' --->Ha!
Coop
-Husband said this isn't a *real* name so he nixed this one and I was not willing to be yet another Mom with a 'Cooper'! Went with Korbin instead.
~Naming them was always THE hardest part for me. Now if you had asked if you regretted giving your kids any names that's another story: I have always wondered if I should have given my daughter my name? I love my name and secretly wish I would have stuck it in there somewhere, it's Karma. And I still kinda think my oldest son's middle name is a 'girls' name? Shay?? But my husband and my sister were in LOVE with it and it flowed with Korbin.
I just need one more and it would be a boy (since I have 2 girls). Lucas Gabriel is the name picked though I think we are done :)
Btw...love how so many of you have good taste liking the name Ian... That's my hubby's name ;)
I never picked out baby names until I was pregnant. Then I picked out one name for a girl and one for a boy, since I opted not to know the sex ahead of time.
Since I wouldn't find out the sex if I got pregnant again (not that it's any longer possible for me to do so - YAY!), I would always have one name that didn't get used unless I had fraternal twins.
Leo for a boy.
Tess for a girl.
