I have four kids, three at home.
My 11 yo weighed himself at the pool last night.
He has passed my 17 yo daughter.
He now weighs 123 pounds, she 121. She stands 5'3', if she stands up tall, he is just about 5'1".
But she says THat's OK I have bigger boobies. ;oP

We've always called him the moose. He passed my 14 yo daughter when he was three and she was 6. At that time they both weighed maybe 35 pounds.

So for the obligatory question...........When have your boys outweighed, outgrown their older sisters, or your own little brothers outweigh you?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

My poor Moose. All his friends are teeny in the 5th percentile. Mine has always been in the 95th and above.

He wants to be as big as his big brother. He's getting there. Big Bro is 6' 240 lbs, just makes that Navy weight limit. :o/

I'm sure my little brothers outweighed me very early (especially my brother 2 years younger, he's husky)... my baby brother that is 7 years younger is now a foot and 2 inches taller than I am, and my 'husky' brother is 11 inches taller than I am. Although I'm the oldest, they always call me their 'little' sister, LOL!

while its not girls and boys... my older son was chubby until about 14 he has stayed the same weight.. maybe gained a pound here or there but he shot up over a foot in the past year and half. He weighs 117.

Our 11 ( almost 12) yr old weighs 120. Im thinking he will be the same as my oldest and plateau with his weight but shoot up in height.

When I was 18 and found out I was pregnant with my oldest I was 115... oh I wish I would see those numbers again ;) My younger brother just hit his "all time heaviest" weight last year at 125. ( He is 33)

My five year old son outweighs and is taller than his 6 year old brother- weighs about 10 lbs more and is about 2" taller. I estimate that he will be at least as big as his half brother, who is 10, by the end of the summer. Right now, my stepson weighs about 5 more lbs and is about 3 inches taller.
In preschool, they did a growth chart from the end of September on. My son grew 3 inches! He is totally in proportion- he just looks a lot older than he really is. We call him moose too :)

Not a sibling, but my son & his best bud were always the two peanuts until K, now my son has 30 lbs on his friend! And his friend's little sister is heavier than her brother, even though she's two years younger....so I guess it goes both ways! LOL

And I'm so confused! A previous poster mentions her daughter here in her answer, and in her profile, yet in a previous answer, states "ooh I don't have any girls!! If we were going to have O. - her name would've been ABC"......what's up with that? Sorry....so confused! Can't keep all these people straight I guess. At least I know my kid's name!

my brother was a starving stick thin wisp all through his life, till he hit 18, then in 3 years he surpassed me in height and I always outweighed him. I am built like a Sumo Wrestler. Thanks to my Germanic background :(

My son and oldest dd are 1 year apart (dd being younger than he is). She caught up to him pretty quickly and until this year have always been 1 lb and 1 inch apart. I always get the "are they twins question". This is the first year that he is now 3 inches taller and 5 lbs heavier than she is.

But we have this summer - and my kids grow like weeds in the summer. So we shall see in the fall what the difference will be then!

I think my son might have weighed more than his almost 2 year old sister when he was born! Not really, but he did weigh 50% more than she did at birth. He caught up to her weight wise at his 3 year check-up. He caught up to her height wise when he was not quite 4.

She is my little peanut and always has been. He is my linebacker and always has been. Currently the battle in our house is that she is 6 1/2 years old and still doesn't weigh 40 lbs, nor is she 40 inches tall yet. Therefore, she is still in a 5 point harness car seat (much to her chagrin). My son technically has reached all requirements to move up to a booster seat. She is insistent that he not get a booster seat before she does. I won't let him move to one before her but she better get to growing soon!!

My brother and I were sticks. We are both stick adults now. It was hard on my brother to always be a super skinny boy...as a boy you are supposed to be big and muscular. My two kids (boy and girl) are both stick thin...they are tall for their age though. No mooses in our family. I think my son was 35 lbs when he was age 6!

At about 10-12 my son began his journey to being taller and outweighing his 3 older cousins. Two of them are pettite but the other is tall and thin. My son is tall enough to put his chin on the top of my head but he has to bend down to do it. LOL. Until he got to be taller than me I was the tallest person in the house standing at 5'6" and now I'm the shortest. How the tides have turned. LOL
