Hi Y'all,

Thought I would ask another JFF (just for fun) question. What is your favorite holiday leftover (Thanksgiving, Christmas, any holiday for which a large meal is prepared)?

Mine: Green Bean Casserole from Turkey Day, and Potato Casserole from Christmas

Can't want to see the responses. :-)

Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving!!!

What can I do next?

The only thing I ever look forward to the day after Thanksgiving is an all-white meat turkey sandwich on crusty bread with leftover stuffing and cranberry sauce mixed with a little mayo on top. Yum! :) And after that, I never want to see the leftovers again! lol

Sweet potato casserole! And turkey for sandwiches! And ham for that midnight snack! And pie! See this why we just went out for Thanksgiving, no leftovers to ruin all the weight I lost after baby.

I make turkey soup. I pull all the meat off the turkey and boil the carcass. I let the broth cool and skim off the fat--the same with the leftover juices, then mix them. I add the left over white meat, pressed garlic, carrots, celery flakes, chopped onion and brown rice.
The whole family loves it.
My favorite leftover is pumpkin pie--if there is any left.

My only requirement every year is enough turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce to make a sourdough grilled cheese sandwich the next day. So yummy and a little havarti kinda holds the whole thing together.

Mine is left over Mocha Punch. I drink it at work as my coffee for the 2-3 days after Thanksgiving AND Christmas.

It is the perfect blend of Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Ice cream and Whip Cream!

Yum! I LOVE Cold Coffee!
