Jff-common Things You've Never Done

I've never had a cup of coffee or glass of beer in my 34 years of life. I've had sips of both and can't stand either one.

Never had a cup of coffee. Love the smell, hate the taste!
Never been arrested.
Never planted a vegetable garden.
Never skinny dipped....well....do hot tubs count? :)
Never kayaked or rock climbed.

Dude. Hmm...

Sew. Grill outside.
Hard to think of other things....what's common to some is not to others (I suppose I do the things that are "common" to me, lol). Conducted an orchestra? Never done that. :P

Been on a plane
Ice skated on a naturally frozen lake
Birthed a boy(so far.about to break this one)
Passed out
Driven a 4 wheeler
Eaten politically incorrect meat
Had sex in a public bathroom
Had a one night stand
Broken my own stuff in anger
Ran a mile
Driven more than 10 minutes on a freeway
Been broken up with

Things I have never done.....Been arrested. Although recently I have been working on that:)Thank you Occupy Tacoma for humbling me more and more everyday.

I have never truly Gardened for myself. I have had great intentions, yet have not had the follow through. I really really want to give it a go this spring..So hoping for a nice short winter;p

I have never stood up for what I believe in. I always stood idle and allowed things to plow me over..and then I would figure out how to except them.

This is no longer the case for life:) I now fight loudly.

There is alot of stuff I could rattle off I have not done..But I will eventually.

Go out and grill.....It is a fun and relaxing experience....Ask your husband to step aside. I started doing this last summer when we moved into our house. I am now the grill master.

Realize you did not ask for the how to for making the things you have never done come true...but It is fun when you finally get to tackle some of that stuff:)

Plenty...I never got drunk, I never went skiing, I never could draw, or paint or fix mechanical stuff (some mamas are pretty handy - i have NEVER been!), i have never had a wedding although I used to be married, I have never watched a football game (except few glimpses while running around in the house and somebody else was), I have never cooked a turkey and never, ever, dressed with Christmas themed sweathers. Oh there are so many things, I have yet to try...

Gotta learn to grill Girl - I love to plan that.

I've never been to a professional Baseball or Football or Basketball Game..never. I can't stand the noise. So I don't have plans to attend either.

I've never been to Chicago. Traveled the world, just not there.

I have never been on a airplane and don't plan to! Im terrified of airplanes and to some its no big deal, but its just something I don't want to do :)

I also have never ridden a horse. Touched them a few rare times, but never ridden one.

I have never touched a gun of any kind, let alone shot one. Not for lack of exposure..I am surrounded by hunters and military friends and conceal and carry folks, even as a tiny child. But my hubby as an adult does not hunt, so his teeange/young adult hunting weapons are still stored at his dads, so none in MY house.

Hmm..its not much but its all I can think of...LOL..will edit if I come up with more! LOL

I agree that "common" is a relative thing. The horse thing is maybe crazy talk in Texas...never playing golf (Hey another thing I have never done!), probably the same in Arizona? And here in MN, as an AVID snowmobiler...here and in many Western states if you said you lived there but never rode one, people might wonder if you are an alien Body Snatcher?? LOL

I have never gone to a movie alone.
Lived in Colorado for five years and never went snow skiing there. I've been snow skiing just not in CO.
I have never been arrested (almost once but random guy at a bar called me the "c word"...so I punched him and broke his nose).

I've never ridden on a motorcycle
I've never used any illegal drug
I've never gone out clubbing
I've never intentionally skipped church on a Sunday
I've never worn a bikini
I've never tried yoga
I've never gone on a typical college spring break
I've never met my paternal granfather who passed away a year before I was born
I've never watched an entire episode of "Jersey Shore"
I've never done ribs or a rotisserie chicken on the grill
I've been fishing a few times, but have never taken a fish off the hook
I've never been to a professional hockey game (kinda weird growing up in Minnesota, and then living in Chicago for 10 years)

I have never been in a physical fight.
I have also never used the grill.
I have never skied.
I have never scrapbooked.
I have never seen "A Charlie Brown Christmas" or "How the Grinch Stole Chrismas".
I have never been arrested.
I have never used the weed eater (thing scares me to death).

i'm sure there are more common things i've never done but my mind is a bit of a blank.

I have never used an illegal drug; or abused a prescribed one.
I have never been with anyone other than my husband in any intimate fashion.

Pretty short list and the only one I want to change - I long to swim in the ocean and feel the waves. Short bucket list!

I have never tasted steak or ribs, while I do eat chicken and pork.

Seen lady and the Tramp.
Touched a snake -- they freak me out.

I'm 44 and I've never been drunk. And until I was 40 I had been in the snow, but never when it was snowING. And I've never seen one second of Saturday Night Live. =)

I've never mowed a lawn. I grew up with all brothers and they got stuck doing it. In my adult life I've always rented, so it's never been my responsibility.

Can't think of any others.... but I'm sure there is more!

I've ridden a horse, BBQ'd and played hop scotch. I swam in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans....I swam in a lake and creek....

i've never ridden in a hot air balloon....but I know plenty of people that have...

wow, there isn't too much I haven't done that I can think of right now... sure give me a couple of days, then I'll be like, yeah I never did that... but there is one thing that does come to mind, that is common, I've had opportunities, but for some reason never done it and said I would when I was a little girl. I used to think that I would have all the neighborhood kids over playing with mine and make chocolate chip cookie bars, not just cookies, but the bars. Every time my mom would make them, I had that thought. To tell you the truth not sure if I ever made the bars for my kiddos...
