Absolutely! Last year the way facebook was set up, you could put a saying up on the left side. I wrote: "I am expecting a miracle." A few months later, I found out I had lung cancer and I had had it for a long time ( a very long story that I have posted about before.) I had half my lung removed in Jan. In April, a mammogram showed a suspicious spot. In June, nodules showed up in my lung CT scan. In October, all the nodules were gone from my lung. In November, the spot was gone from my breast.
Eight years ago, I had a stroke and miraculously survived that. It was because of an undiagnosed hole in my heart. I had open heart surgery and was back to teaching aerobics in six weeks, eight weeks after the lung surgery. I can physically do anything I want.
I am going to see my boys grow up. That's a miracle.

We put our house on the market this past August (in Texas) because we were moving to Chicagoland for my husband's job. Our home went on MLS at 10:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, and we had a good offer by 2:00 p.m. the next day. The buyers wanted a quick close and move-in date. The date they needed fit exactly with our schedule to move to Illinois. It COULD NOT have worked out more perfectly!

Yes, I believe this was God's doing.

i do. i think its one of those things that keep hope. we pray for a miracles for health problems, financial problems etc. and when they become ok and fine we feel as if its a miracle that has been answered ;)
miracles are all around us- babies born, family members saved from death, the fact we live in a free country. most people dont take the time to stop and smell the roses in this busy time.

Absolutely!
I have seen miracles happen.
Maybe not in MY time, but in God's time.
And sometimes not exactly what I was praying for...but turns out to be the right thing for the right time.

Right now I'm praying for a miracle for my friend, who was very recently diagnosed with Leukemia.

I believe everything happens for very specific reasons. If that is considered a miracle, then yes, I believe in them.

When bad stuff happens, I start searching. Searching for the bigger picture. I know that there is always that silver lining. for every negative thing that has happened....100 good things have come from it.

Christmas miracles are just the same, the timing is what makes then twice as nice:)

Of course, I do believe they come from God, Our home was saved after going through a year long processn of loosingn our home, I was in collections with multi credit card companies, I now only have 2 creditores and they are working with me, those to me are miracles, I have a 2 month old grandson, but the miracle that sticks with me from a long time ago was we were living in Japan and we had no housingn atn this time son we had ton live in town and mu husband hd just left forn 3 months and there was a lot ofn work needed outside our house to keep the spiders (Giant Ones) and snakes at bay, well my children were only 7, 4 and 2 at the time so there wasn't much they could do as far as yard work, so one morning I was praying for God to send me some help, and before I even said Amen a woman and her 5 kids showed up at my house with with a lawn mower weed wacker rakes every thing that was need to get my yard in shape, mind you I only met this woman once befoe this morning. As far as Christmas Miracles when I have all 3 of my now grown kids with us for the Holidays thats a miracle for me our oldest lives 6 hours away. J.

Ollie's Mom:

Sorry - I'm just seeing this.

Yes. I do believe in miracles. I believe that God makes things happen. I believe in the Power of Prayer.

My son, Nicky, was born 4 weeks early. His first APGAR score was a 2. A while later, he stopped breathing...while I was holding him - he flat lined...I was kicked out the NICU...the doctor's said he was 50/50...he would be in the hospital for at least 8 weeks. He had pneumonia and a host of other issues....I was distraught - he had tubes sticking out from all over him.... I called my church...spoke with Father Rob - he came to the hospital blessed him and a prayer chain was started...within 48 hours - Nicky was off the breathing machine...within 72 hours he was breathing on his own...we were able to take him home from the hospital at 8 days. The doctors and nurses were AMAZED...

I don't necessarily pray for things for ME. God knows my needs and sees to it that I get a path that leads me to Him. I pray for other people...and I ask God to let me be able to help those who need it.

Can't imagine not believing....I see God's work every day!!
