Forbes just released a list of 100 powerful women. I wanted to share and ask if there is anyone who comes to your mind that should be on the list? Do you have a female public role model?

What can I do next?

Bah! Would love to see the entire list at once. I got to #6 and didn't want to click 95 more times. Why do websites DO THAT? :)

ETA: There we go, thank you! That is a pretty comprehensive list. I'm a little perplexed by the inclusion of Shakira, though. Maybe she's done more than what I'm aware of.

My roll models are The Blessed Mother Mary. Edith Stein is at the top of my list as well. Then there is Gianna Molla. Oh I could go on and on. Needless to say I am not in the norm.

After really looking at the list, I'm really disappointed. There is only like one or two that I would really look up to.

As much as I dislike her, I think Sarah Palin should be on that list. She has a huge bearing on the Tea Party movement.

I do not have a public female role model, but my aunt is my role model. She is the most successful small business owner I know, is a wonderful and loving person, and is the most charitable person I know as well.

ETA: I concur with Dana K's suggestions for female role models :)
