Date night?
What's that?
We haven't been on a date since we were dating and that was 12 years ago.
.....since my husband and I have had a date night (get your minds out of the gutter, lol). Our church is having a craft / game night for the kids from 6-8. I will get to have dinner brought to me and actually eat it warm! The best part is no cleanup.
So when was the last time you had a date night?
Off to shower and actually get dressed rather than pajamas. Have a lovely evening my fellow mamas & papas.

It's been like two years since we had a date night. Something always comes up when we try to get out alone.
We have 3 kids ages 4,3 and 16months. We have been out 3 times in 4 yrs. My husband only trusts certain family members to baby sit and somehow they are always busy!
uh.......

:(
Our 20th anniversary almost 2 yrs ago. It was also our first since having kids.
Last weekend (no, the weekend before that!) my husband and I went to Philly (specifically, the Mutter Museum) for my birthday... it. was. AWESOME.
But before that, it had been close to a year!! We went to see Social D.
And as luck may have it, I'm sick, but we had a sitter lined up for tomorrow night!! Twice in one month would have been HUGE!!
HAVE FUN WITH YOUR HUSBAND!! :)
My husband and I go out to dinner every Friday night, but that's about all. Like Lola N. we are a very happy, but boring couple. We like it that way. We were both pretty wild in our younger days, so we enjoy just staying home and being together.
I'm having one tomorrow night!!! We are having a wine tasting party in our neighborhood, so we will get to mingle with friends, and partake in lots and lots of wine!!! That is not what we generally do on a date night, but it is fun to do the wine tasting once a year. We try to get out at least once a month or so. Hope you have a wonderful time!!!!
Sunday afternoon. My husband and I went to the movies. We watched the Tom Hanks movie(incredibly loud & extremely close, awesome movie by the way). It was our first date in 2 YEARS! It was amazing. We are just now learning how to spend time together after having children.
Oh, about 3 1/2 years. We had a date night the night I found out I was pregnant. Was miserably sick the rest of the pregnancy, and on bed-rest. Haven't had one since my son has been born. We still have a great and fun marriage, we just take our son along for all the fun!!
We're looking forward to an anniversary getaway next month.
We had gone 2 years without a date before we FINALLY got one. Since then, we've made it a priority to have at least one per month. Our last one was in mid-December, in January we have done 1 in-home date (I put the kids to bed early & he brought home dinner & we watched a movie & cuddled and promised NOT to talk about finances or any other stressor) and our next one is Super Bowl Sunday.
Have fun tonight! Sounds like you've really earned it :)
We haven't had a date night in... it will be three years next month. Sheesh....
Every other weekend when our ex's have our kids. =)
.
Last September!
Oh wait, we had 1 (yes just 1) more recently about a month ago.
Went to dinner. I needed it or I was going to lose my mind w/him. Ha ha
Have a fun time! :)
Wednesday night. I got a discount on dinner for two back in October and this past Wednesday night was the time to cash in on that good fortune. We had Italian food that was amazing. We talked laughed and came back home to a lovely evening together alone in our room.
The kids cooked for themselves and cleaned up their mess. It was great.
We have another date night coming up on February 4. He picked up concert tickets. I'm looking forward to that too. We will have dinner and then see the show and I'll give him a show when we get home. YEAH!!! I love my man.
I think it was about 10 years before hubby & I had a date night I had a son who is now 18 yrs old that had major anxiety whenever we would go out. Now we have a daughter who is now 7 yrs old & son that is 3 yrs old both have life threatening food allergies that she was diagnosed w/around 7 months & winter months are usually pretty tough because she was often sick w/colds or croup and it also took awhile before we found someone that were comfortable with because we don't really have any family nearby. Now we usually go out about twice a month. :) I'm guessing that will change after the summer when our babysitter goes off to college :( LOL
A few weeks ago we went to see a movie since my brother, his wife and mother in law gave us tickets and a gift card for food that the theater for Christmas. Before that we had a lunch together just the two of us about 2 months ago. Before that I coudn't tell you. He works crazy hours and usually when he's home we want to spend time all together as a family.
Saturday! A nice dinner but no movie, we were too full of food and wine to deal with the theater so we just went home and watched a DVD. Man we are old :(
not sure how to answer this. if we are overseas to visit family, husband and i go out with my siblings and their significant others every night (for a week or so). otherwise in the states we have not had a date night in 7 and a half years.i know i know but it just happened. how it happened? no family to help out ever. twins. clueless first-time mom. stressed out dad. i got too attached to my twins and court-tv. i started listening about horror stories about nannies, baby sittings, strangers so i never relaxed long enough to hire someone and actually go through with it.
so our date nights now are usually fridays and saturdays. hubby makes dinner while kids are up. then they go to bed and we choose a movie and have dinner together. after the movie we sit and talk. it's really nice. i enjoy his company. in fact he called today from the city to ask me to look through on demand to see if there are any new movies out. good to know he looks forward to fridays just as much as i do. we are a very boring happy couple.
We are going on one tonight. :)
Some shopping, dinner, maybe a movie. Wine. YAY!!
It's been about 2 months or more for us. Not as long as you! But it still sucks! It's hard for us to find a babysitter, and he works long hours during the week so he is tired on weekends and just wants to rest. Next weekend we are hopefully going out though!
We have dinner with another couple every Friday night. Each group will pick a restaurant for that Friday. Since we live in Houston, we never run out of places to go!
By the way, anyone here in Houston have any suggestions?????
Probably the last time my MIL was in town, so October. :) All our family lives out-of-state so no babysitters closeby. Fortunately for our sanity, the little boy is well-behaved so we can take him to most nice restaurants with us.
Last night, went out to eat, no kids. Then came home and relaxed on the couch.
I know, I know.... I'm such a romantic.
Before that, January 12th, Aaron Lewis concert. AWESOME!
