I know someone who had a period every month of her pregnancy and just thought she was getting fat. She was shocked when she went into labor. So, yes, it's possible, but I don't know how common it is.

yeah its very possible with it being so short i would say it was implantation bleeding where the egg implants to the uturus
Yes, you could still be pregnant. You could have had implantation bleeding.
Yes, you can have bleeding at the time you expect your period and be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test if you are worried.
No, it's not possible to have an actual "period" during pregnancy, though some women (myself included) do bleed. If you are pregnant, please do not wear tampons, wear pads only, and call your OB.
Bleeding in pregnancy can be common, though it's never considered normal, no matter what other women may tell you. Some women have implantation bleeding, which is generally spotting, older brown blood around the time they miss their period. Some women have something called a subchorionic hematoma (SCH), which can cause period like bleeding. Simply google the term and you'll get lots of info.
A true period only happens when a woman ovulates. And though it's been said that some women (in very rare instances) ovulate twice, (so perhaps during early pregnancy), it's highly unlikely that's what happened here. Ovulation triggers the lining of your uterus to shed, which is the bleeding you see during a period. Obviously if the lining of the uterus sheds then a miscarriage would happen. So, no it's highly unlikely that you would have a period, though you could have some other unexplained bleeding. And if that's the case, and you are indeed pregnant then you need to be seen by your dr. Good luck.
Since you have a scheduled appointment in a day or two, can you put off working or doing any kind of housework and lay down? Don't exert yourself. If you are pregnant, and having gone through all this in your past pregnancy try to stay in bed for several weeks until things are well into developmental stages. Hope for the best. Good luck to you. Let us know the news.
yes it is possible to be pregnant!! 1 out of 3 women bleed in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. definately take a test n let us know!! good luck!!
A pregency test would be able to tell you right now! If its not clear call your ob and they will be able to give you a blood test! :) GOOD LUCK
I bled with both of my pregnanies. It was so heavy that I actually thought it was my period. My dates were all off when I had my son, they thought i was having twins at first because they couldn't understand why my stomach was so big. With my daughter, I bled a lot. Especially after intercourse. I thought I was going to mis-carry, but they both went to full term. The only way you'll know is with a pregnancy test. Every woman is different.
Take the preggie test..You'll know for sure then :)
Call your doctor and ask to be seen first thing tomorrow. This could be normal for you, as some folks noted, or it could be something seriously wrong -- there is absolutely no way for someone posting here to know either way! You said you weren't even sure (as in, tested and confirmed) that you were pregnant. Get a pregnancy test and tell the doctor exactly what you experienced with the bleeding.
totally possible, but would take a blood test the results are more acurate.
I have mine for the 1st 3 or 4 months... I have 3 healthy kids with no miscarriages (well, no known as who really checks when you are still having your period?)
Yes, it happens. Happened to me. I'd had an ultrasound already (very early) to confirm I was pregnant and conception date, and I had heavy spotting soon after that. Scared me b/c I thought I was miscarrying, but Dr explained it sometimes happens. For me, it all turned out ok. I hope it's all ok for you, too-however you define it!
I bled for the first 11 weeks in both my pregnancies, so yes it is possible
