Hi moms please help me if you can at all. Your suggestions are more than appreciated. WE have about 25 old records some haven't even been open. We have records of Bing Crosby, Beethoven, Wayne Newton, and a lot of oldies but goodies music artists of the past. I would like to know what is the best way to sell them and get a little money out of them? Any advice?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks. We decided to go with Bookman's to go for store credit for books, videos, etc that we want.

Go to Bookman's in Mesa. www.bookmans.com
You can get store credit for other items there. I've sold books and videos there and there's no expiration on the slip.

or Try
Zia Records

You could take them to an antique shop and get an idea of what they are worth then try Craigs list or ebay

Ebay - take a picture of it list it and it should sell themselves, you could do it as a lot or one by one.

you could also try craigslist.com

I would definitely recommend trying to sell them on eBay or craigslist. Craigslist won't charge you anything, but you may get more for your records on eBay. Good luck!

The plain truth about old albums is that they are actually not worth anything but maybe .25 cents to maybe a dollar each. Amazon.com is a good way to sell them. ZIA Records used to deal in old vinyls. Living in Sun Lakes we have a lot of old people who love that stuff but they cannot even get more than that here. Try the Independent Newspaper for an advertisement also. Being old myself, I still have a lot of old stuff on vinyl and found that they make a vintage looking record player to CD recorder/cassette tape to CD recorder combination. Not sure who is the manufacture but it may be Sylvania. Try Best Buy for that one. Good Luck.
