Intelligender Baby Predictor Test Results- Accuracy

I am 10 weeks pregnant and have purchased the gender predictor test Intelligender. I am well aware of the accuracy ratings in lab and clinical trials, but would like to see how the test results have worked for other moms! I have a couple friends who have taken the test and had accurate results, but I have a couple who have been sorely disappointed with inaccurate results. Can anyone please give me some feedback? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hey M.,
I took the Intelligender test just for the fun of it and knowing I wasn't going to count on the results eiher way. Unfortunately my results were not clear as the color was kind of a mixture between the green and gold. There were three of us "reading" the results and none of us could decide which color it matched better. I took it at around 14 weeks, if I remember correctly. It's definitely not worth taking if you want a definite answer, but if you're just doing it for the fun of it then go for it.

Have fun!

I took two and both said it was a boy and the first ultrasound maybe a girl but not for sure but I did a second ultrasound that said girl and sure enough it was a girl. For me the disappointment was not worth it. As we already had 6 girls and really wanted a boy. I love our baby girl so much and wouldn't want anything else but it was definitely a disappointment. I would not spend the money again. Hope this helps. If it is just for fun go for it but know that they are not accurate!

Hi M..

Congrats on your pregnancy. I am also 10 weeks pregnant but with our third. I have two boys and would love to have a daughter! I've wondered about those tests and thought about getting one also, but I have heard that they're not very accurate. They have a 50/50 chance to be right though :) I'm looking forward to my ultrasound around Thanksgiving. Best wishes,
B.

Seems like you already have your answer.... even though it is a small test pool. 2 of you friends got an accurate answer, and 2 didn't. That equals 50% accuracy. Hope you didn't pay a lot for this thing. The only sure way to know is an amnio and it is not worth the risks to the baby. U/S can be wrong, too (or, more accurately, the reading of the U/S can be wrong.) If I were you I would just focus on eating as healthy as possible and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to give you the best odds of having a healthy baby, no matter what its gender. After all, isn't that the most important thing? So take your vitamins and keep all your prenatal appts. Enjoy this special time. He or she will be here before you know it. Congrats on your pregnancy.

Good luck,
L. D
