I really thought that I had tissue paper around the house SOMEWHERE but I guess I was mistaken!
So now I am trying to figure out what to wrap my hubby's gift in.
Any ideas of what to use instead of tissue paper?

Thanks for all the ideas ladies! I didnt have any Xmas wrap, but I got him a new Wallet, and found a bag to put it in. Stupid me forgot the stuff at the store, and I found some pretty scrap booking paper and wrapped it in that. It was heavier paper so it was a pain but I did it and tied ribbon around it.
Never thought of tin foil, I will have to use that next time!

If you have a brown paper bag you could cut it down, decorate it (or not) and tie it with a pretty ribbon. :)
Use the purple and white Hallmark bag....we did! LOL
Newspaper? You could wrap it with construction paper and put some cute stickers on it or write his name all fancy.
Wrap it in leftover Christmas wrap, but use the wrap inside out so it's just white. Then you can decorate it with hearts or heart cutouts.
You didn't say what the gift is, but if it is a box you can use aluminum foil. My dad always used to wrap all the Xmas gifts in foil and it looked beautiful.
do you have any fabric, and old silky robe you could cut up??? yikes, freezer paper, aluminum foil, saran wrap lol! what about just a bow?
We like to use the colored Sunday comics pages....
Do you have any pretty fabric? Tie a big bow around colorful fabric.
