Hi Sarah,
There are a few herbs that help with insomnia; valerian, kava kava, and chamomile also, B vitamins and motherwort are helpful for anxiety.
hi everyone,
let's say that I'm a night person. i feel energize at night. i had severals night jobs. but it started 3 to 4 years ago. i was a student and i had to wake up early in the morning. i did good for the first year then i started to not being able to sleep early and i would have only 3 hours to sleep then wake up for school. what happen then almost drive me crazy. every night i would be anxious about not being able to sleep and i would spend the hole night fighting to sleep. and when it's exactly 5:30 am i start to feel sleepy but i have to wake up. so you can imagine how my day would go by. a few months later i got pregnant and the insomnia and anxiety stop. i thought i was going to be fine after that. but 2 years later which is now i start having the same problem. if i have to wake up early i have insomnia and anxiety. even if I'm sleepy i can hear myself snoring for 3 second and i wake up. i am so afraid of not being able to sleep that i got anxious and unable to sleep. my doctor just like every doctor prescribe me some anxiety peels that don't do nothing for me and believe me i hate putting those chemicals in my body. so I'm looking for something different than medications.
i heard people talking about hypnotism. does anybody out there knows about a good hypnotic place something reliable and safe. I'm ready to try anything safe and good to get out of that problem i have things to take care in the morning so i can afford to be sick like that. otherwise I'll go crazy. i really hope to find some good responses.

Sarah:
I am not sure if this is a route you want to take but...did you ever consider a homeopathic/accupunturist? I go to this awesome one, Carol Bates, in Countryside (right off McMullen Booth Road and Enterprise). She is a doctor of homeopathy and oriental medicine. Plus, she is an accupuncturist. She has helped my son, my mother-in-law and myself with a variety of things. I don't believe in most conventional medicine so she has been a blessing! I'm wondering if even the accupuncture might help. Her phone number is ###-###-####.
Good luck!

The side effects are more patience, more tolerance, more peace and calm, everything a new mom needs (or any mom). I can do private sessions or train you in self-hypnosis. The next self-hypnosis class will be 2 Mondays, May 5 and 12. See www.EnlightenedHypnosis.com for class schedule.
