Hi K.,
I went to the Mesa Marketplace (Signal Butte & Baseline) and they have a booth there called "Bestsole Inc." She is at booth #B24. They have these "Massaging insoles" that are suppose to be great as they incorporate the properties of pure Glycerin with the Science of Reflexology to improve your general health. They're on my list of things to get! :)
No actual insole recs, but I love, love, love my Dansko clogs and Alegria Paloma Mary Janes. They cost alot, but are worth it. both brands are popular with those in the medical and restaurant industries.
The Danskos are tanks and I don't think they're ever going to die. The Alegrias are just darn cute and man...it's like walking on air...even 8 hours after walking and standing all day.
This is a good time to buy them, because they're getting ready to bring out the new designs for the coming season/year. Many stores and sites online are clearancing right now.

For athletic shoes I like Merrell's
If you have bad feet, tendonitis, repetitive stress injuries, or just want comfy shoes this is a great online store that often (depends on availablity and season) carries these brands and then some:
I'm sorry, I don't have an recommendations for insoles but I DO recommend getting yourself some Rockport shoes. They are pricey but maybe you can get them at an outlet. I used to have a job where I was on my feet all day. My mom recommended them and they were a lifesaver. Good luck!
