Hello! I just went through this about a month ago. What worked for us was Goo-gone. Got the ink out and won't dry out the leather. Good luck!
So my 2 yr. "devil" wrote on my white leather couch with a pen. I have tired magic eraser, hairspray, baby wipes and alcohol they have faded it but not removed it. Is there any other options? If her horns dont stop growing I dont know what I'm gonna do.
Well I wanted to thank everyone for the great responses I recieved. I have been unable to get all of the ink off however it has faded alot. I tried almost every thing suggested and will try the goo-gone tomarrow, either way whats done is done and she is just a kid being a kid, I now keep all pens, marker, crayons locked in my desk. Brianna is one who will do everything she knows she is not suppose to do just to see what will happen I also have a 7month son who will soon follow in his sister games, at some point you just sit back and laugh .. My oldest 6 she was so quiet and never got into anything so this is sure a new experience. But once again Thank you all!

WOW .. she sounds adventurous!! I do have a cleaner I use, called Sol-U-Mel .. You order it through a membership club and it is non-toxic! It will take Sharpie Marker off a white wall!!
I wish you were closer, I would loan you some ... It really works like a charm to clean. :-)
I have recently re-discovered lestoil. You can get it anywhere. It took magic marker off several things in my house, but I have not tried it on ink on a couch.
Use hand sanitizer. I used it when my daughter drew with an ink pen all over a brand new recliner and it took it out almost instantly. I rubbed in a circular motion to try not to ruin the fabric. Good luck. :)
I've used nail polish remover in the past on a microfiber couch, without any damage. Good luck! (There's a ton of ideas here that I'll try in the future!)
Try rubbing some toothpaste over the ink with an old toothbrush. I was able to get Sharpie marker off of my wooden kitchen table with it. Maybe it will work on leather. Good luck!
2yr old energy goes far & wide, hopefully she is in day-care to help cool the high energy. Take a deep breath you could be raising the next Picasso. Jaguar leather cleaner, used in new cars, contact local dealer for details, or check on line, ###-###-#### Novi dealer. You could also try break cleaner, or even windex, non fragrant, you have nothing to loose, due to the fact your not going to add a design with more ink. Do not scrub, and in your mind you should have the additude this of cource will work. Best of luck with your creative family.
My 2 year old son retaliated over something with a silver permanent marker on our brown leather couch. My husband tried saddle soap (good for leather shoes, etc.) and it worked very well. Maybe an inexpensive slip cover for a few years would save you future headaches? I also remember telling myself that I love my son more than my couch!
hey B. did you use rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol
chances are you use the first one try the second one you can pick it up at home depot lowes and even walmart back by paints come in big can takes a little works wonders on everthing it even take sharpie off walls and sleeping 8 yr old sisters lol good luck let me know
I agree about the Sol-u-mel! That stuff is amazing. All the products are if you use them all that often. The place to order that from is call Melaleuca.

Goo Gone! Works wonders!
I don't know about the ink :(
But I have a 2 year old and 9 month old and feel your pain. I am glad to hear you (lovingly) say your daughter is a devil. Mine too. I don't know all toddlers are this way (maybe worse because of jealousy of the baby?), but she makes life really unpleasant. I really hope it gets better.
Good luck on your couch. I recently replaced my carpet due to her monstrosities. It sucked.
try goo gone... saddle soap is good as well.
should be able to get goo gone from wal-mart, meijer, hardware store, etc.
you did try rubbing alcohol? maybe on a q-tip... so more concentrated and can rub in just the marked areas?
All I can see is that some day you'll look back and laugh. Try to keep your sense of humor and gratitude for healthy children. My most destructive child is a wonderful/respected physician and mother of 5, and a very generous/kind woman. I sure shed some tears when she was little. I couldn't begin to list all the antics she pulled. She even drew her "good" younger sister into some of them! You do have to supervise these smart, strong-willed children more than others. Found that out the hard way! Good luck!
B.,
Have You Tried Hair Spray???
Good Luck!
I still have ink pen marks on my taupe leather recliner. Everything I tried just faded the taupe color and made the blue ink mark stand out more. I have a brand new $300,000 home, and in the past 3 years I have pink "play" makeup stains in the hallway on the carpet, orange playdoh stains on another spot, blueberry mashed in another spot, and more on the carpet. My cherry trim has nicks all over it from my son running his trucks into it, I had crayon on the walls (thankfully magic eraser worked), A huge gash mark on my wood floor from my 2 year old trying to carry a metal fire box in the office. The worst of worst is all the scratch marks on my stainless steel appliances. If I had it to do over again I would of bought way cheaper appliances, carpet, etc. And bought the good stuff when my 3 were older. Oh well, what can I do?
Good luck!!!!
