Info on Kathleen High

My husband is the position to see all high schools in the Lakeland area and Lakeland High School is the best High School in Lakeland followed by George Jenkins High School. Academically Kathleen is not a very good school and not in the best of neighborhoods. I wish you the best of luck. I hope this information helps you.

My whole family went to Kathleen. I think it is a great school. I really don't think any of the other high schools around are any better for an average student. If they have a special talent for dance or music then yes Lakeland HS is better. They have a seperate school on campus for those kids. Also Lakeland has one of the best football teams in the state. You can't just go to any HS you want either. George Jenkins is newer. Lakeland Kathleen and Lake Gibson are just older schools.

Hi T.! My good friend has twins that go to this school and they report a great sports program and academic. They recently switched from George Jenkins a couple of years ago and have said they like Kathleen better! It is also known for its football teams...hope this helps!

I just graduated from there in 2004 and my little sister still goes there, and will be a senior next year. I, personally, really loved the school. Sure, there are a few drawbacks, as it is one of the poorer schools in the county, but from my experience, it has the least amount of drugs. Not to say there is none there, but nothing compared to some of the other schools.
