In Home Daycare Rate Question

I'll post the Oklahoma Pay Scale, it has both home and center pricing. You may be able to google MO pay scale too so you can see what your state is paying your competition for people who need child care assistance.

If you already charge $135 for toddlers and you provide food, $150 sounds about right for a baby. Are you going to give them a family discount? I know that at the daycare my girls attended for a few weeks this summer, there was a large sibling discount (25% or something like that).

You need to check with facility places near you and also home daycares.

I am a provider in Olathe and I charge $200 a week for all children. I provide wipes and food, clients provide formula and diapers.

My daycare charged a $20 per week infant fee. It was dropped when my DD turned 18 months.

$150.00 if you provide formula id say 170.00....but if she has both kids there maybe 270.oo a week total? i guess it depends if you provide meals or not.....weve had experiences with both

I don't believe in charging an infant fee or lowering the rates later. Most providers increase their parents fees every year and re-do their contracts as of the first of January, or on their 1 year anniversary. So I just charge one rate from infant to school. The parents never have a raise, but then I never have a cut in pay either. When they are babies the parents so often provide formula. They may be a little more work, but they cost us more when they are eating us out of house and home. It all evens out in he end.

I charge 120 per week. I'm sure you know that the rates vary GREATLY in the entire metro. I've seen as low as 80 per week to as high as 150 on the Missouri side and it goes way higher on the Kansas side.

I pay $32/day for my six month old and the rate decreases at 24 months. My daycare also provides all food but I bring formula for the baby.
