In-home Daycare in Rowlett

I live in Rowlett (near N. Garland) and am looking for in home day care that is not too far from where I live (I work 10 minutes away).

I'm not due until February 2006 and do not expect to need daycare until late April or early May 2006. I normally work 9 hour days most of the week, but am checking into adjusting my schedule to suit the baby's needs.

I know it's early, but I want to make sure I have my "ducks in a row" as soon as I can.

Thank you for any help you can give.

What can I do next?

Home daycare is the only way to go.
Your child will stay much healthier and get lots more attention than
he or she would in a center.
Centers = bad news for babies...

The State of Texas carefully regulates and licenses in-home daycare operations. Here is the list of licensed practitioners in your area.
Call a few up and make appointments to visit.Ask for four or five references.
Good Luck

Hi, I am a mother of 2 kids and live in Rockwall. I am 24 years old and my husband and I just bought a brand new home. I am not a daycare or childcare, I am just a stay-at-home mother looking for ways to contribute to my family. I would love to help you and take care of your little one while you work. I am a wonderful mother and would welcome your baby just as if he/she was my own. My son will be going to Pre-Kindergarden by then but will only be attending half days. My son will be 5 in October. My daughter will be 2 in September of this year. I would love to meet with you if you are interested...but if you are looking for a daycare with a lot of kids I am not the place. It will just be me and my 2 kids. My husband travels back and fourth to California for 10 days out of the month...the other days he will be here.
Please let me know if you are at all interested. I would be flexible with pay since I know it is probably hard being a single mother. I would love to help you out, really. It sounds like a wonderful oppurtunity. I have a HUGE house with tons of toys. You child will have a great time. I love babies :)))) My 2 year old is still my baby....she sleeps in bed with me still, man I need to get over that.
HEHE....hope to talk with you soon.
C. Taylor.

Hi J.,
I spoke with a friend of mine who lives up in N Garland (190 and Shiloh). Her neighbor across the street has an in home daycare- she says she is great with the kids and things always look clean and under control when she has been over there. The lady's name is Buffie Hillgartner and her number is ###-###-####.

Hope this helps!
D.

HI J.: First of all: Congrats. You are going to be so thrilled with this new adventure. I know I am far away, but I am starting my own day care in Duncanville: South of the city and I am a certified teacher. I quit to stay at home with my baby who is almost a year. Anyway, email me if you would consider coming this way for a great in home day care. I applaud you for having a baby on your own. K.
