Well you know what we say when the kids say I'm bored....
FIND SOMETHING TO DO or I'LL find you something to do!!
Tehehe
:)
Oh so bored. It's my second to last day at work (they had to cut my work study program and I haven't found another job. ugh) and I just don't want to work. I'm in that I don't care anymore rut and just want to go home and sleep. I also only have 10 weeks left of school till I graduate, and senior-itis has set in. I want to be DONE! Right now, I'm actually not working, but am in class, but will have to leave soon. Ugh! I don't want to!!
So if you could drop what your doing right now and do whatever, what would you do??
I would want to go to IKEA and have a shopping spree. Or a huge cloth diaper store. I would be a happy gal :D
@Tracy K where do you live? I'm going on there on friday :D
@brown|eyed|girls that's not pathetic at all!!!

:)
I'm with Tracy K., afternoon delight & then a nap. After the TMI Q&A yesterday, the hubs & I had some exploring to do last night & I'm ready for round 2 followed immediately by a nap! Ha!
I have 138 technical support emails to answer, and I can't bring myself to work either! I'm doing like 12 per hour... lame. And so here I am, on this site ;)
I'd love to be sitting in my canoe, sans kids, the boat propped up on some private rock in the middle of the river, with my feet up, sunglasses on, and a cold cocktail in my hand, doing NOTHING!!
The thing is, if my boss didn't have stitches in his ankle right now and couldn't go in the water, he'd be RIGHT THERE WITH ME, LOL!!
This sounds sorta sad and pathetic, but I would go home and enjoy the weather by painting the rest of my fence and then the kids new (used) swing set. I would be happy as can be too, because right now is the perfect weather. Not too hot not too cold.
Otherwise it looks as though I won't even touch either one until....maybe Sunday! (So busy!)
ooohhh, ikea! i love you. alas, you are 2 hours from my house.
If I could be doing anything right now, it would be taking a nap. or maybe some afternoon delight and THEN a nap.
hit the river.....with a sleeping bag, recliner for in the water, & a big cooler.
No electronics, no phones.....just the sounds of nature.
& I'm really feeling it, because I'm working today (inhome daycare) & the 3 men of the house are out on the lake. boohoo......
I feel your pain. I am stuck in an office building on the seventh floor. Talk about confining and stifling. Cube life defies human nature :-).
With a wave of a flag, I'd be down at the beach a.s.a.p. soaking up the rays with SPF 85 of course. I'd then pickup the little one as if I worked all day :-)
So am I. :(
I guess I could actually do my work.....nah
I am starting to think going home may be in order.....
Me too... I just got back from a wedding and we're leaving Friday for Florida. It's very slow in the world of school admin the first week of summer. There's literally NOTHING to do. Reports have been filed, plans updated, report cards mailed, books restocked...
If I could drop what I was doing right now, I would go to the park at the end of the road and read until I could pick up my son from preschool! Just have some quiet time to myself.
your too funny ~ I Wish I had a moment to be Bored !!! I'd go to the park (alone) sit under a tree w/ my book and read for Hours !!!!!!!!!!!
....that sounds Lovely.
I hope you get to IKEA ;-)
I'm on here seeing if anything is interesting. I have hot water and soap in my sink and i need to do my dishes. My 2 yr old is playing and my nb is sleeping. Its 11:30 and the only one dressed is the nb. I'm bored and would love to go shopping. My baby has been grounded to the house till he is 2 months so i'm starting to go stir crazy! My2 yr old just asked to watch Diego. Hopefully i can get a shower in. AH
I would love to go sit at Panera with a good book for hours and ignore the rest of the world. It's been over a year (probably close to two) since I have been able to read an adult book.
