In September, I caught my sister and my husband sleeping together. I was so messed up emotionally that I walked out with only my purse and cell phone. I left my baby behind thinking I'd only be gone a few days pulling myself together. I didn't want her to see me that way. Two days later, he changed the locks and filed a protective order on me. It's been a roller coaster from there. I have seen my child maybe six times in the last 5 months!!! It makes me crazy and no matter what I do, I can't get help to see my baby. Yes, I already tried legal aid, lawyer referral service, and even opened up the yellow pages and begged. He has an attorney. I don't. My court date is March 7th and I am afraid he's gonna take my baby from me!!! HELP!!!
All i can do is pray for you, and pray for the judge to hear the truth and make a wise decision.
I dont know if you have an attorney yet or not but if you want the BEST - Mine is Glynn Turquandt of Walters and Turquandt - he is in the book. He NEVER looses!! He is exspensive so know that upfront - but if you want the best - he is the man! He is also very fair, very trustworthy and a genuine nice/good man. He practices Family Law and is up on all of it! I know, I've gone through too many bad lawyers and finally found him - I am staying put with him. He did more for me in 2 hours than the others I had over 2 years! No lie!! Good luck to you!
I am so sorry, This happen to you. This so called husband of yours is some kind of creap to try to take you child away form you. The court room is your chance to talk. I wish I knew a lawyer to help you. GOD Bless you.
You don't need a lawyer, you haven't done anything wrong. HE is the one that cheated, HE is the one that locked you out. All you have to do is tell the judge the truth. And, if you tell the court that you can't afford an attorney, they will appoint one to you. My court date is today to get my son back from my ex...
