Dear M., My Grandmother had this over 50 years ago, when nearly nothing was known. I only know it has something to do with the organs and the skin. I am sure you can look it up on the computer, much more info is available today. Many blessings, Grandma Mary

Is your dr wanting to treat it like an auto immune disease? Are you looking to support your body thru treatment and help it fight the disease? I have information that can help you as you decide your approach that I would be glad to share with you.

Only that it's scary as heck. From what I remember, it can be very slow progressing and only affect parts of the body, or it can affect large parts and be aggressive. It has something to do with the hardening of skin and it can also be the hardening of the linings of organs too.
