I will need to hire a nanny for the summer to care for a very independent 5year old and a 10 month old. It will be for Mon thru Fri from 8 am to 5:30 pm. No housework or cooking. I will prepare food for both kids in advance. The duties will only be playing with the kids and entertaining them. The position will be for June/July/August.
Do you have an idea of a weekly pay?
Thank you

I'm with Katy that $80/day is cheap. For 2 kids, I would think you should pay $10-$12/day. ...that is what I've done.

I have no idea, but I do have a nanny in mind in your area if you need a referral.

25 yrs ago when I was a summer Nanny I made $6 an hour, min wage was under $4 an hour back then (pretty sure it was $3.35). So, I would say $2 over min wage.

I must be over-paying. I found in my area $80/day is cheap.
