Also check local rec centers. Ours has a meeting place they fill with toys. For $2, mom's groups come and play.
I belong to a local moms club that includes a playgroup. I think we would get more participants if members didn't have to host at their home. When the weather is nice, we often meet at nearby playgrounds, but that won't be possible in the winter months. Does anyone have any suggestions for indoor, free places where we could meet?

Yorktown Mall has their indoor play area which is a pretty nice venue during the week. It gets pretty busy on the weekends. It is on the lower level, outside of the Carson Pirie Scot entrance.
Libraries, fast food restaurants (Chik Fil A, etc) malls have play areas as do larger bookstores catering to kids--like Joseph-Beth.
Hi Erin,
There is indoor play area in McDonald`s at 75th& plainfield rd in naperville & burger king on 95th st by Walgreens.
You can also go to Airtastic & Odyseey fun world.
Check with your local library. You may also want to consider meeting a kids restaurant that has a play area, like a McDonalds or Chuck-E-Cheese. The mall near our house has a play area for kids.
