I am hosting a halloween party for 38 kids, ages 5, 6 and 7!!! I love hosting parties but this is the biggest party yet! Does anyone have any game and/or activitiy ideas for this many children? Last year I only had 12 kids over, and we did a foam craft, pin th nose on the pumpkin, find the skeleton bones, and a piniata. I am afraid it will be too complicated to do some of these things with so many bodies. Any suggestions will help, and so will personal experiance advice.
Oh and where in McKinney can I get the cheapest party supplies?
Thanks!

I am a SAHM of 3 kids, a baby, and a Kindergartenr, and 1st grader

Hi, A.,
With a larger group like that games and contests work well. Number off 2 or 3 teams and have a sack race (use pillowcases to hop in). Roll a ball across a room with hands behind your back. Most kids love activities that allow them to move. Even musical chairs can be a lot of fun. A costume contest is always a great idea.
Have a couple of "prizes" for the winners like Slime or candy eyeballs.
Be sure and ask several other adults to help with "crowd control", so you don't get overwhelmed.
Whatever you do, have fun with it. Good luck!

bobbing for apples, break the kids into groups and let each group decorate a pumpkin with paint, stickers etc. and have a contest to see who did the best (or funniest) pumpkin. Break the kids into pairs and have a mummy wrapping contest with toliet paper. Make candy apples

How about just coloring pages, make your own trick or treat bag or a big hit at my party - pipe cleaner spiders made with lollipops. Face painting may also be something an older kid or friend could do.

Try resale stores (Goodwill etc)for decorations as well as the dollar store.

Have fun!
