I Need Help Finding Jeans!

I have a happy problem. I am losing weight, and I need new jeans. I still have a somewhat thickish waist, but no butt or hips. Can anyone suggest reasonably priced jeans that won't fall off my body? Thanks!

What can I do next?

If you are in the process of losing weight and plan on continuing, why not try some resale stores or Goodwill. Two pluses I find are that they are cheaper (especially if you aren't going to stay one size for a long period of time) and they usually have a wide variety of brands. I find a lot of things that are like new for less than half the cost.

Old Navy has a fair amount of styles. While they aren't my favorite jeans, if you are still losing weight and changes sizes, I wouldn't invest in pricey ones just yet.. Go in and try on some of their styles.. I would look for the lower waist. those are good not only for someone with a short waist, such as myself but also for those who don't have big curves.. When you buy the higher waisted jeans and don't have a butt or hips, those only make those areas look even flatter...

good luck

If you're open to it, go to your local thrift shop, they have tons of jeans for practically nothing.

Also, if you have a good will in your area, they have .99 jeans on certain days, sign up for their mailing list.

I can't tell you how many nice designer jeans I have bought for $1 that look practically new, you just need to go frequently and look.

I was gonna say just what Sally R said!! Then when you keep losing weight it is not such a huge thing for your wallet to keep buying smaller sizes as you need them. Congratulations to you!

Yay! I have sort of the same problem. I'm 43 and a couple of years ago I started needing belts! At first I didn't think of that, because all my life as a fit and trim person, any jeans fit and stayed up, even really low cut ones. But as I lost my baby weight for the third time, and battled the muffin top, all my jeans would fall off. So. Get a belt. Voila. When in transition, my favorite cheapy brands right now are dark shades of American Eagle jeans with subdued pocket stitches (so I don't look like a teen) They have some dark wash high waisted ones and the regular ones work with a belt under tunic tops. They're always having online deals and you can return online or in stores. I just ditched a bunch of size 10s and bought 8s and didn't even care because they were half-off $30. The butt is flattering and not momly. Also, my "rockstar" ones from Old Navy work well in blue and black and they were super cheap too.

Jeggings at Target cost $14 and will shrink in the dryer as you lose.

I sometimes have better luck with men's jeans. They are cut slimmer in the butt and hips. I am apple shaped as well.
