I say this leprechaun is sexist. Why can't he make ME extremely wealthy? LOL
I go with option two. Because I would love to get the my husband out of his stressful job, and help my folks retire.
Ok - Lets say that a leprechaun comes along and offers to change your husband/significant other in one way. Now - your husband already has the perfect personality for you and is perfectly loving and not one of his habits annoys you.
So you must pick between two shallow options:
1)The leprechaun will make your husband incredibly hot and sexy and guarantee that he will age gracefully - he will be one of those silver haired 80 year old men with a six pack...You will have an amazing sex life for the rest of your life.
2)The leprechaun will make your husband extremely wealthy. You will now be able to enjoy luxuries that you had only fantasized about in the past.
What would you pick? Why?
ETA: Yes - if you pick #1 your husband also stays physically healthy. Also - your status quo is unaltered on anything other than your choice. So if you pick #1, you can keep the income you currently have.
Drat! I should have made this question harder by adding that the leprechaun will not let any money be spent on plastic surgery if you pick #2. I should have known you people would find a loop hole!

I already have #1, so I'd go with #2. :-) And we NEED #2 desperately. ::sigh::
If I ever marry again, it won't be for love but for money.
He's already hot and looks young for his age so I'll go with extremely wealthy. I would love to be able to retire at 35. Plus, could always buy those little blue pills at 80 if the need arises...;-)
Please, leprechaun, give me the money, please! I don't want my husband 100 times better looking than me, and getting the eye from cute girls every minute. I want to stop stressing over the mortgage, the college account, the Visa bill, the heating bill, the what if one of us loses our job scenario.
But, if the leprechaun offered to make ME super-cute, it'd be a harder choice. At this stage in life, I think I'd still go with the money though. So all that hard, patient work of self-acceptance wouldn't go to waste.
2...could he also give him an Irish accent? That would be nice! :)
Fun question!!!
i love this question and these answers, FUN!
also would go with #2 from a shallow perspective, i'm not that hot and i don't want him to be hotter than me. plus we aready have an amazing sex life, even with our muffin tops and beer bellies.
the money would free us to eat healthier and exercise more, and have a little nip tuck if necessary.
I would pick #2.
While other women may look at my husband's belly (which is a bit big) or his height (he's a bit short) and think that he is not sexy....I DO!
We desperately need money, all the time, so that would be lovely.
L.
The money, if you've got #2 you can buy #1 .
I'd choose #1 on behalf of my wife. You can't buy health and longevity.
If I had good health, I could go to work again and solve the financial problems.
Thanks for a thinking question.
Good luck to you and yours.
2!
Why? Because pretty much all our stress comes down to money. We're just barely getting by.
Option 2 - I have no intention of pimping either of us out in our dotage if our expenses/health care issues exceed our savings/retirement so the good looks won’t be of any use.
I like someone else's answer. Why can't we just get a small bonus every year?
Now if you could make this to If you could have looks, stamina, perfect aging, or a job that would suffice us for the rest of our life, no worries about lay offs, great benefits and the like. Number 2. We wouldn't pick our men if they did not attract us!
Pure wealth without the hard work is pointless you just want more. If you have to work for it... It makes you grateful.
Like most people said before, they are allready attracted to their mate so money would be the logical choice. I always joke & say 1st time for love 2nd time for money. I have never been rich & don't ever intend to be but people that say money isn't everything, obviously have never lived without it. It does make life alot easier & with money you can get plastic surgery to look beautiful. If people take care of themselves they should age gracefully anyway.
hehe hubby is already hot :) I'll take the money! LOL
Oh and he is Irish, so he can already do a sexy Irish accent :)
If I HAD to choose, I would choose #2. But I wouldn't want to choose either. Extreme wealth (do some research and follow up on past lottery winners) can be a recipe for disaster for a marriage, and for all your friendships and family relationships. I kinda prefer to keep mine intact.
(Could you alter it so that you got some sort of $25k a year bonus or something?)
And the first one, ehh... he's pretty darn sexy now. And in better shape than me, too. I don't need a bunch of "sweet young thangs" trying to steal him away. I trust him, but it can be a lot of work to avoid temptations, you know?
I think we are pretty evenly matched in the looks department, so having him suddenly become ultra "hot" would make me feel awkward. I think I look good, but definitely not a "match" for "ultra hot". LOL
Option 2. Because my husband already is super hot. If he was even hotter, all the women would go after him. No way!
Oh yeah, totally 2. I think my husband is adorable and let's be honest, I'd love to live a life of leisure! I'd be taking the whole family on vacations and let our moms retire, oh and of course my husband could retire too, he deserves it! ;)
ha! i thought i'd be so unusual in picking #2!!!
:D

Ha ha...this is funny.
But I find it hard to believe anyone would go for option 1 as I think most people think of their husbands as handsome already.
So for me of course mine would be #2. Not because I'm greedy for money but because I already find my husband handsome. :)
Well I am selfish and want 1 and 2.
If I pick 1 , I would love to have amazing sex forever or even now!! Looks really do not matter to me but the sex does!
If I pick 2, I would be able to to get cosmetic surgery and some pills for hubby. Best of both worlds really!!
I pick 2. hee hee
Can #1 include no health issues? If so, that is what I would pick. To live a healthy life. It's not about whether I find him attractive...as of course I believe he is. But right now I'm more concerned about his health and if hot/sexy age gracefully includes excellent health...that is what I would choose.
But if it doesn't then I'm all for money!
I would take the money. Just makes life easier.
MONEY!!! LOL!
Heck, with enough money we can BUY him an incredibly hot and sexy body when he's 80! ;)
I'm already attracted to my husband and don't care what anyone else thinks of him, he's hot and sexy to me, which is what matters.
He does have money already and because of that, we owe TONS of taxes. So I would choose #2....and a better CPA...so we don't get in this situation again. =)
Would we have to be poor if I choose number 2 or could we stay the way we are now? If we could stay the way we are now I would pick 1. But if we had to be poor, then of course the money. Money is not that important as long as you are comfortable. I don't fantasize about material things.
Just another indication that security is a longer-lasting need than sexiness.... :^) But I, too, wonder where the leprechaun is who would make me one of those two shallow options. Oh, wait... that's the one who comes along to my husband....
