My son is really congested. I'm going this afternoon to buy him a humidifier. I'm wondering what kind of humidifier you moms out there would suggest? I'll go to either Wal-Mart or Babies R Us. I'm not wanting to spend too much money :)

We have the Vicks Steam Vaporizer. It was, 15 I think from Walmart. You can get the Vicks Vapo Steam or just run plain water. I use the Vapo steam and it works wonders for my daughter.

I went to CVS and purchased on for $20. I works great!! You fill it up with water and sprinkle a little bit of salt in the water. Within less than 5 minutes, the steam will start to rise up. Good luck.
I have a warm mist and a cool mist and sometimes I have to see which one gives better relief. The warm one I got for around $20 at walgreens and the cool one around 25 at walmart.
Also, get a crib wedge at BabiesRUs that will help elevate his head just a bit. I also use a tiny amount of baby vicks on the chest.
