Yes - clean it with leather cleaner every 1 to 3 months and then moisturize it with leather conditioner. You can buy wipes that work well and are super easy to use.
How do you take care of your leather couch? Do you condition it?
How often and what do you use?
I have a beige leather couch that is just 3 years old and it starts to show some wear and while I love the wear in a dark brown or even black leather couch, in the beige color I am not liking it to much, the wear parts look darker so it looks dirty.
I have never moisturized it so I am thinking that it could be why?

We had a beige leather set also, and the color chipped off and washed off even tho we used the conditioner and cleaner they gave us when we bought it. They claimed it was dyed but it was more like paint. We had a store warrenty for 10 years, but the store went out of business about 3 months after we purchased it, so we were out of luck. It was also the most uncomfotable stuff we ever owned and as soon as we knew we were moving, we got rid of it and bought new fabric couches. I wont have leather again.
Real leather couches need some attention every once in a while.
You can wash it with a mild detergent. And follow up with a leather conditioner.
If it starts cracking - your toast! :)
I had a buttery soft ivory set for about 10 years.
Truthfully? I wiped it off with a damp towel and dried with another towel when it got dirty. Never did use the official leather cleaner or conditioner.
When it started looking "dirty" like you're describing, it was in two areas--wet dog lounging spots and we had a furniture/leather guy come & re-color those parts. Once the color is actually "off" there's not much else you can do.
Good luck!
I have a high quality leather set - and in the beginning we conditioned it, but not really anymore, maybe once a year. Otherwise, i use a damp water cloth and go over it, then dry it off with a dry towel. It still is in excellent condition and probably 8 years old.
I suggest that since it's beige, what is happening is that the color is wearing off. Only a really expensive leather has the color thru to the back and I'm not sure about that.
My brother had a brown leather chair and the wear appeared to me to be the color wearing off. It was relatively inexpensive as far as leather goes.
You might check with the manufacturer.
