Crest white strips did not work for me at all. But I asked my dentist what would be good to use while preggo and he mentioned to dip a wet toothbrush in baking soda and brush. It worked awesome and it cheap! Good luck!

Hello G....

My name is T... I work in the dental field. The best way to whiten your teeth without going to your dentist is to use the "Crest" Whitestrips... They work great...

Brush your teeth with a good toothpast, then use the whitestrips as directed. You will really like the outcome.

Start with the top teeth only... Then you'll be able to see the difference...

Keep me posted on your outcome.. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me..

I used peroxide like a mouthwash about once a week. Everytime I go to the dentist they ask me if I have ever gotten my teeth whittened and I get comments from strangers all the time. My teeth are not sensitive at all and I have been doing it for years. Its cheap and easy!

Hi G.,

Have you tried either Rembrandt toothpoase, home-bleaching products (they have one from Crest, that you brush on your teeth like white out, there are also mouth plates that you put gel into and bite down for several minutes at a time) & now at CVS, Walgreens & Publix, they have those 5 minute laser bite plates. if you find one that works and doesn't make your teeth feel grainy or sensitive, let me know...I'm getting married again in 4 1/2 months and I'd love to whiten my teeth. Good luck. I hope this helps.

i use crest whitestrips, the crest vivid white toothpaste, and when i chew gum i use the trident white. i have really white teeth. (for not being professionally done)- you can buy 2 packs each of the toothpaste and the strips at sams for a good price, i was gonna tell you the price, we just bought it again the other day but i can't find the receipt. my husband loves how good it worked on me and tried the 2nd box the 1st time i bought it but he didn't use it daily so he is trying again........it really works, try it and you'll be happy.

The Crest white strips work great... Just be careful not to leave them in too long because your teeth could get sensitive...The box is about 20.00 I THINK, and holds 28 upper and 28 lower strips....You don't need to do it everyday. Try every other day just to make sure your teeth don't get sensitive... You can get them anywhere IE: Target, Walmart, grocery store.... I've been using using them for the past couple years and LOVE the results..

Hi G.,

I too, work in the dental field. By far the biggest bang for your buck is the Crest Whitestrips. BUT......the most important thing you need to make sure of is that your teeth and gums are healthy before attempting bleaching. Do you go to the dentist for regular check ups and cleanings? If you have any cavities in your front teeth (which you may not be aware of)you can open a can of worms for sensitivity issues.
Another thing to be careful about is to check for any restorations in your front teeth. Tooth colored fillings or bonded or porcelain veneers or crowns will not change color. So, you may end up with uneven results.
If all of these things have been addressed, and there is no issue, then go for it. If you have a very wide smile (Julia Roberts) you may find that the strips aren't long enough to cover all the teeth that show when you smile.
I really recommend going to the dentist to get custom trays. They are not as expensive as Zoom, but you will have the trays forever and they fit your teeth perfectly and you will get the best results.
If you have any questions, just ask!

I used crest white strips and was skeptical at first. they really worked. my husband was a dental tech in the navy at the time and told me the only thing I needed to be sure of was to not drink lots of soda and tea (or smoke) and it would stay that while for a while but they tend to make your teeth sensitive (as would any whitener) so you dont want to do it all that often and if you drink tea and so on, it wouldnt last long. Good Luck!
