We moved into our house and it has fleas. I have a two year old and am pregnant so I dont want anything too strong but I need to get rid of these critters fast!!! Good Exterminators? Other stuff? Help!
Thanks everyone! I ended up going to Creature Comfort Animal Clinic like Brandy recommended and they were so helpful. I got the stuff they recommended. It is safe for the family and lasts a long time. I can already tell a difference and it has just been one day.

Treat your yard with nematodes and diatomaceous earth, as they are probably outside too.
Then you can use diatomaceous earth on your carpets as well- it's all natural and non toxic. Call around, but a landscaping/feed store will most likely have it. Try Nicholson Hardie if you don't get anywhere as I'm pretty sure they carrry it.
table salt and borax
spread it all over and vacuum up with moth balls in the vacuum cleaner.
You can also get the diatomaceous earth at any pool supply store.
Hello I have been a vet tech for 12 years and honestly the fleas are more harmful to your family than the chemicals used in vet offices! Creature Comfort Animal Clinic ###-###-#### is were I have worked and they are wonderful! Make sure to use a product in the house and yard with precore! Do you have pets? Make sure to treat them as well and keep them on a preventive! I have my dogs and cats on revolution. Hope this helps!
