at my son's 5 mo checkup, I think the Pediatrician said he still needed a min. 20 oz, maybe 24 oz daily, even though I had started to introduce baby food. I'd ask the mom to confirm..and see how much she feeds him at night or at breakfast.
Hey mama's
I have a bottle fed baby that I keep and I am wondering how much formula he should be getting in a days time. I nursed my child for a year so I have no clue how much he was getting, and he is 7 now. This little one will be 4 months old on 9/6. Thanks to all who will reply.
I have had a few people say to ask the mom, we are together trying to figure this out. That is why I asked for your input.

Hi-
He should be taking about 24-32 ounces per day.(preferably without getting up at night to eat).So,4 6 ounce bottles or 4 8 ounce bottles per day.
she should be eating about 4-6 ounces each feeding. which should be about every 4 hours. You can always call you doctor as well and they can tell you about how many ounces for her wieght and age she should be taking a day. Good luck!
My son get 26-32oz with 2 servings of baby food and 4 tablespoons of oatmeal everyday. He has been on this schedule since he turned 5 months old. He is currently a little over 16 lbs.
Maybe ask the parent?
