How long have you been a member of Mamapedia?
I have been a member since 2006 I believe.
My first question was April 8, 2008. "When should I get baby's ear's pierced?" Had 116 responses. We all know how well my FIRST question went down! Crazy me for asking such a controversial question first time out of the gates! Lol
My first question (i looked it up) was December 19, 2006. It was called "getting rid of that tummy?" irony is i know how now, but i was much better off then.

For years, since it was mamasource. But I was under my real name and changed it several months ago since a mom posted about being stalked by another mom. :0/
Since april of 2007...I know because I asked a question about sleep issues with my newborn.

About 3 years. I've been seriously considering deleting my account lately though.

To the best of my knowledge, 2006. I went back to my questions and I asked my first one in 2006.
The site was Mamasource at the time and more local but I like it this way as well. I could do without all the advertising but I appreciate that the site is free and advertising helps keep it that way.
I know I've been here for almost 4 years....I actually went back through the pages when this question was asked a week or two ago and I got my first flower on Feb 2008. I know I "lurked" for a while before I answered...

Almost exactly 3 years ago...and I have been contemplating deleting my acct. as of recently. I don't like the deleting of questions simply because responders get angry and malicious and gang up against the person posting questions. I think open dialogue is great on a host of hot topics that moms want to discuss...from politics and religion to butt wiping and boobs sagging. I am looking for another forum but I can't seem to let go of soooo many of you mamas that have been supportive,humorous and have tempered fiery tempers when having opposing viewpoints.

It was mamasource,I tried to look but i couldn't wade through all the pages to find how long i had been lurking, duh and i did change my account at one point so it must go back even before that. probably around 2007/8 ish when i was a SAHM.
I recognize alot of the more frequent/passionate posters, but i've always wondered if anyone remembered me. And what they think about me, since there is such a limited amount of info you can gain from questions.
It does seem though that in the last year or two as i have become more passionate myself about my morals and opinions on things, i just don't have much in common with a big percentage of mom's on this site, and i'm not sure i want to continue to be a minority on things that are important to me. I appreciate different perspecitves, but there also comes a point that i just know that i disagree and am tired of hearing justifications. So i guess i'm maybe looking for a new site that might serve a different population. But yet i just can't break the addiction. It's like Days of our Lives on here.
For those lovely kind elequant people on here, I want to say thank you because there have been days just reading what you have written to others has lifted my heart. Maybe that's the bigger reason why i stay.
Since my oldest (almost 5) was about 3 weeks old & I was frazzled and trying to figure out how to make him stop crying. You ladies have been helping me with pretty much everything since then :) Feb 2007

Since 2005, back when it was mamasource. I've changed my name 1 time since then. I went from my real name to the one I have now. Attempting to be a little more cautious about putting all of my info out there.
2005 or 2006. Seems like forever.

Probably since about 2007, not sure though. I know it was Mamasource when I started though! I like being able to see the "regulars" luk around but now that everyone is changing their names I have a hard time keeping track of who's who!
