I just had my merina iud removed after having it in for two years. The Dr. said it could take a couple of months before i can get pregnant, or it could take no time at all. I was wondering if any other moms out there have been pregnant after having merina removed and about how long it took.

apparently pretty quickly. my mirena fell out and i got pregnant. I am due any day now :)
I had mirena in for about 1 year and a half. I got it taken out in January of 08 and got pregnant in August of 08..I wasn't trying, this one is a happy surprise!

I just had mine taken out recently too and it took my period a few months to adjust back to 'normal' making it kind of difficult to figure out when I was ovulating! I don't use a kit or anything like that yet, so I have been relying on the counting method! Hopefully it's working! ;)

My roommate is almost 30 weeks pregnant right now. She got pregnant about 6 months after her Mirena IUD was removed.
