My husband recently got out of the Air Force and now I live in Palmdale Ca and dont know anyone. It gets hard not having anyone close to hang out with or just to talk to. My poor daughter who is 3 1/2 doesnt ever get to play with anyone. Can anyone help.

well I can't really answer your question because I'm kind of in the same situation. I have been living here in Palmdale for almost three years now. The only people I know are my husband's family and two ladys that would take care of my daughter. I have a 2 1/2 year old girl and a 5 month old girl. I'm my daughters playmate so I know what you mean. Well maybe our daughters can be each others playmate. Just a thought.

I would sign your daughter up for some of the classes for kids offered by the city. I moved here in 2000 and that is how I have made all of my friends. Check out www.cityofpalmdale.org and click on publications. You will be able to find info about it there. The programs here are great.
We moved to Palmdale nearly two years ago and still haven't met anyone. I have three kids ages almost 5, almost 3 and 5 months.I am also a stay at home mom.We would love to get out and meet other moms and kids.
