You can use tough n tender mixed with water...not only will it work, but it's safe. No toxins, chemicals or fumes. Safe for children and pets!
Good luck!!
We just got new flooring- beautiful handscraped, beveled wood laminate. I have NO IDEA how to clean it, or what to use! I'm finding that dirt gets stuck in the beveled areas, so I've run our vacuum , but it still needs to be cleaned. I've heard some use a swiffer w/ formula specifically made for wood? HELP!!

I have nailed down/sanded/stained hardwoods. I use a dust mop to get the dust off and a hardwood floor cleaner from Home Depot called Bruce to go over it after getting the dust off to spiff it up. It shines afterwards. I love the hardwood....man does it have to be dust mopped often though!
I still would not trade it for carpet. I love it.
We put in wood laminate about 2 years ago. Swiffer makes a formula specifically for wood and laminate. I love it and it hasn't damaged our floors at all. It dries super-fast, so that you don't have to worry about it soaking into the floor.
Wood laminate? That, I don't know the answer to, but we had the original 1926 wood flooring in our last house and I used Murphy's Oil Soap + water and mop ONLY. I was always afraid the Swifer stuff would dull the finish.
Hello ,
My husband works installing Hardwoodfloors and we also have hardwood floors in our house and its best if you use the products that are made for your floors type because if you wet the floors with in time it will affect it .I use the dust mop and bruce hardwood floors cleaner just sweep first and you will get it clean .Good luck
