I take Prometrium and Estradiol pills every day. I don't know if they are bio-identical or not, and I don't care. I am NOT going back to those menopausal symptoms.

I'm 47 and perimenopausal. Breast soreness, hot flashes (no night sweats), bloating, moodiness, irritability, insomnia, cramping and heavy periods where my symptoms. I use Pro-Gest Emerita and LOVE it! Can't tell enough how much it helps me. Got mine first tube of it at Sprouts but you can get it from Amazon for a great price: http://www.amazon.com/Emerita-Pro-Gest-Natural-Progestero... you might want to also check out the reviews. I really do suggest that you give it a try. I use it from day 8 through day 28 to help keep my cycles normal and help with PMS symptoms. For me it's worth every penny!
Best Regards,
C.

My dear friend and co-worker has been using the bio-identical system for years and has told me a lot about it. She swears by it, and you really can tell when her meds need to be adjusted. She uses the cream, she rubs it into her arm every day. She swears that it has changed her quality of life. She rarely gets hot flashes, mood swings, etc., associated with menopause.

I go to Dr Tuttera at Sottopelle. They have offices all over Phoenix. They use the bio-identical hormones in the form of pellets that are inserted under my skin once every 3 to 4 months. No need to think about it.
It is a life changer!! My family can always tell when I am due for my next dose. (So can I!!)

I am on bio identical homones. You can only get them from certain pharmacies in town that do compounding. I do estrogon and testosterone. They are drops I rub on 2 times a day. I have been on them for years. They are amazing. My Dr. told me I can stay on them as long as necessary. They are natural so will not cause any of the issues the Estrodial etc cause. I am 61. They alliviated my hot flashes and all other symptoms. I am just now through menophase.

I am looking into that now too. I have had HORRIBLE perimenopause symptoms ; headaches, anxiety, brain clench, inside tremors, etc.....
One of my friends just started the bioidenticals/compounded and said that it is life changing. She sleeps like a baby, no more mood swings, hot flashes etc..She said it is the best she has felt in years!!

My other friend had a hysterectomy and all &##( broke loose. Agrophobia, anxiety, tremors, asthma attacks..she had to quit work. Now, with hormones she is working part time and most of her symptoms have subsided.

I need to try something soon!! Email me, if you need a name of a good compound pharmacist. I found one
