Not menopause yet but it's prime time for peri-menopause.
I'm surprised your dr didn't mention that.
Peri-menopause is the lead up to full menopause and it can last 10 - 15 years.
Some women start earlier than others.
It's a period of increasingly out of balance hormones.
You can have long periods, short periods, skip a period, have another period in 14 days, night sweats, hot flashes - but it starts out gradually.
You'll be fine, then have a hot flash, then be fine for several months, then have a later period, then be fine, then have a short period, etc and so forth.
You can still get pregnant so keep up with your birth control.
Another possibility is your thyroid might be acting up.
I wouldn't try taking anything for it until you know for sure what it is.
Have your hormone levels measured (thyroid too) right about when you will be experiencing your symptoms or just before.
If it's peri-menopause then maybe Estroven can help.
If it's thyroid, Estroven will not help at all.
