I was online selling Hoodia pills and never got a return taker and I took them but got scared with all the pills I take for past problems. I really do not think they work. G. W

I know someone who wound up in the ER with heart palpitations and is still having effects even after quitting the pills. Turns out they were loaded with stimulants in addition to the hoodia. I would recommend sticking with whole foods, avoid sweets, chips, etc., increase water intake and exercise. I am a wellness coach so if you'd like more specific advice, feel free to give me a call!

J. I have personally not tried this diet pill although I am familiar with many hoodia diet products. I would caution you against this. These diet pills are not regulated by the government/FDA and you do not know what you are really getting. This could be dangerous. Even for a best case scenario if you use a diet pill without exercise (cardio & weight training)when you lose 5lbs it won't all be fat. It will be a lot of muscle and water causing your metabolism to dramatically slow. This means as soon as you stop your chances for gaining even more fat back sharply increase b/c you no longer have the lean muscle your body needs to burn calories effeciently. Of course always consult your physician. I hope I was helpful. -Krys www.SuperMommiesFitness.com www.MetroplexBootCamp.com

Hoodia helped curb my appetite, but after reading the other responses I don't think I would return to it. I was writing in to warn you that Hoodia will decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills; I found that out after I ended up with a "surprise" around Christmas time. I am due next week!

I agree with Kris. Dietary supplements that promise fast results without eating right or exercising just simply don't work. Sure, they make great claims, but there is no scientific evidence to back them up- just great advertising. Not to mention that they can be dangerous. Just becuase something claims to be "all natural" does not mean it's safe. Marijuana is "all natural"- right? Anyway, they tried and true is exercise and healthy eating/portion control. Yes it may be slow- but realistically up to 2 pounds per week weight loss is a more permanant weight loss. S.- www.fitness4diabetics.com

WOW! You have gotten a lot of advice and recommendations for alternatives. I have to admit I tried Hoodia products and was not really pleased with the effects (diet wise & otherwise)... I have however had a lot of luck with the Arbonne Figure 8 dietary supplement. It is all natural without any stimulants. It really helps to increase your energy levels as well.

I offer ALL Arbonne products to mamasource clients at 50% off. Feel free to browse my website (wwww.raylansmith.myarbonne.com) and let me know if you would like to try them. They do have a 45-day money back guarantee!

Good luck! Talk to you soon. Just let me know if you are interested.
