Watching HGTV last night and I wondered what it would feel like to have our home remolded by a professional, like heaven I am sure! I would love for Candice Olsen to drop by any time, who would you invite into your home and let them take over?

I would love to purchase a rental property and invite The Property Brothers to take over!

There is a show(can not think of the name) where the guy will go into the hardware stores and ask people can they come into their home and help and some people will look at him like they do not have a clue and I am sitting at the television saying "how could you turn him down"! he has a television crew....

I would love to have Man Cave to come in as well. What say you?

What can I do next?

I used to like Vern from Trading Spaces. He did sleek, zen, calming, yet highly functional spaces. Man cave would be cool too and I like the garage takeover people. I could use a tricked out garage. And a fantasy landscaper too. Just DO NOT let the Dell people come make my living room into a computer store! I don't get that commercail at all. I would be so pissed.

I would LOVE for any of this shows (free ones, because I don't have any money to pay) to come into my house. It would be great if Vern Yip could show up at my door or Candice Olsen (but I hear she mainly works in Canada and you have to pay up to a set amount).
Of course I always sign up for the Home giveaways and such. I love to watch House Hunters and many of the HGTV's shows; I feel they're somewhat educational, entertaining and a safe viewing option when kids are around while you try to watch TV.

Are you kidding me? That would be heaven. My only problem would be deciding which room for them to tackle first!!

I always wonder which of these shows require you to put your own money down and which are done for free!! I know there are many on both sides!

I llove that show too--it is called "Take Home Handyman," with Andrew Don Jumbo (or something like that). There's another one like it called "House Crashers," and "Yard Crashers" with Ahmed Hassan (SO HOT).

We NEED Mike Holmes to visit our house! The previous owner was a DIY-aholic, and he seems to have taken some short-cuts (although I think he thought they were better). Some of his changes are not up to code, and we are NOT good at all with DIY. Too bad he's in Canada, because we would totally hire him to find all our home's major flaws and fix them!

OMG I would absolutely die for someone to come in and finish our unfinished basement. We just bought a 5 bedroom house two months ago and there is always something else to do instead of getting the basement all worked up. I know it will happen in time but if one of these guys showed up at my front door, Im pretty sure I would kiss them on the mouth.....

I, too, would love Candice Olsen to come by too.

Her finished products always look amazing, rich and polished!!

At this point, I don't think I would turn down any help. Ha ha :)

I love that show where the guy goes home with someone from the hardware store. If he approached me I would scream YES! Oh I cannot remember the name of it. I think his name is Ahmed?

It would have to be a room I didn't care about with furniture I didn't care about. Like currently we have a large entertainment center that is not the lovliest, but my FIL made it and we wouldn't want it changed or replaced. Friend had TLC's While You Were Out come in and they gave them weird cow print furniture, but the bones of the room were OK.

We recently inherited my mother's 4 bedroom home. She was a heavy smoker for 40 years and the upstairs bathtub leaked into the downstairs bathroom ceiling since it was built, so there was an incredible amount of mold making it necessary for us to completely gut both bathrooms, remove all the flooring and wallpaper in the rest of the house and basically start over from scratch!! I would LOVE to have any one of these shows come out and take over this renovation!

Go to the HGTV site and the DIY site (yard crashers, bath crashers etc) and there you can find out what shows are filming where and if you qualify you can submit. I submitted our home for Run My Makeover, for our bathroom. :( We didnt get selected.
